Hi, it is very difficult to feel safe and secure after raping. Rape victims are so scared or confused and often change completely their usual habits. At least in a few first days or weeks they will be very unstable and freighted. It is recommended that prosecutors use video interviews with victims, possibly filmed short time after rape. The recordings is used as evidence in cross-examination of the complainant by the defence. In some cases a psychologist or counsellor can also be called to explain that delays in reporting rape are not unusual. I suppose it would be the best for her to take some consellor for overcoming this traumatic condition.
