Initially I thought this problem was due of moisture but it seems that even though I take precautions it still doesn't go away and I've had this issue for less than year now. The problem is that there is this rash growing between the crevice of my scrotum (balls sac) and legs. What happens is that it itches down there pretty often. I can see small pimple like structures and they become red if I scratch it too often. If I do scratch it (and usually I do because I can't hold it any longer) it bleeds a tiny bit (which shouldn't come with any surprises) and yellow liquids flow out soon after and gets absorbs by my underwear (I'm assuming it's pus). It's usually very moist there probably because of the pus coming out. Now this can't be a STD because I've never had intercourse before. Precautions that I've taken are blow drying that area as often as I can (even after showers), take showers daily and washing that area with soap every time I do, and wear at least one clean underwear a day. What could this issue be caused by? Any recommendations to what medicinal lotions I can rub? I'm guessing it's a rash but could be bacterial infection?

Also, I'm a 20 year old male. Thanks.
I think it's unfortunate that you've been dealing with this for such a long time! I think that it could be a fungal or bacterial infection and that you should probably have it examined by a doctor because it sounds like it isn't getting any better. How soon can you see a doctor about this? Let me know okay?

My husband gets this as soon as the weather starts warming up. We catch it before it gets to the bleeding and pus part, but he has been there with that before, a few times. I buy him an inti fungal cream, then he follows that with an anti fungal spray powder. The creme is called Lotrimin and the spray is Cruex. The cream is about ten bucks and the spray is less than 5.
Hygiene is paramount at this time. Use physoderm or cetaphyll to clean it and dry it throughly.
Hang out a while with no draws on, letting the air get at it. It never really clears up all together in the summer months, but at least he can function and isn't scratching himself raw. Clean unders with an allergy retardent laundry soap and stay away from the bleach. You can also try Dreft, it's a detergent used to launder baby cloths. Try some baking soda in the laundry water, this cuts down the harshness of the soap.

I don't know when I'm going to see a doctor about this because I'm a little shy about this issue. It seems that without proper diagnosis from a doctor we can only assume. I'll guess I can have those creams mentioned above by the MOD a try. It couldn't hurt, could it? Plus it's not outrageously expensive. I'll go to the doctor as my last resort, maybe. Thanks for all your replies and if anyone has further insight pleases do reply!

Oh ya, see a doctor for sure if you can. Yes, i am assuming only because my husband goes thru this
every season. I am for sure not a professional and am only giving some insight from personnel experience. To be honest with you, he never was seen by his doctor as we kind of fixed it ourselves. But the absolutely perfect idea would be to see your doctor.

I use baby powder to prevent a rash from developing, but by the end of the week I still get a bad rash. It usually occurs on Friday and I put a gob of Vaseline on the whole area and when I wake up it is healed.

Got this about a month ago...raised reddish welt along crease that oozes clear fluid (not a lot) but no real itch or pain...put over-the-counter cortisone cream and it goes away but returned after a bit....am going to try anti-fungal and I'm sure the combination with cortisone will work...not worried...it's fungal for sure...

It sounds like you have a fungal infection called "jock itch". Get some anti-fungal ointment at your pharmacy and apply that to the area every day.
