Hey Kylee Martha here :)

Yes i know what you feel - its like your chest is numb. Its not painful but theres something weird going on. It sometimes extend to my tummy too!

Sometimes the physical anxiety makes me doubt its anxiety or all of this is because of the pill.. it's such a hard battle.

Hang in there. We will survive this together.. all of us!

Hi Kay this is Martha :)

Sorry to hear after 9 months you still feel that way.. reading forums after forums they said that after the 8th month it usually gets better to the point they feel 90% back :) I know that will happen to you too.

Can i ask what symptoms do you still feel 9 months after and what are the things you did to feel better when you were on the starting phase?

Hello Martha, thanks for the words of encouragement. I’d say anxiety is the longest lasting symptom for me but definitely not as intense as it was before. I don’t really feel much of the physical symptoms anymore unless i’m Having a really bad day. All I’ve been doing is taking a multivitamin, i’m trying to get myself to exercise as I hear it’s great for anxiety but it is something I haven’t gotten around to yet. Wishing you lots of luck in your path towards recovery!

Nope! I was only on the pill for 2 months!! I started to have panic attacks & i knew it wasnt normal and i automatically knew it was bc of the pill so i stopped. I havent had an actual panic attack since i stopped but the anxiety has been pretty constant since

Yeah it's crazy, I think it was more 2013 but still. I had a particular pill and then it stopped being produce within a week or so of me being prescribed it. And then I got put on Junel I think it was. And that's when everything went nuts.

Yeah I totally know that pressure feeling, I had it too for the first year or two after I stopped. Now it's upgraded into migraines lol yay for me. I get intense cramps, back pain, and migraines leading up to my period now and I never did before the birth control.

Drowsiness and fatigue after an anxiety attack make perfect sense because your body goes into survival flight mode. So it's using everything it can to try and flee. When I've had those feelings, I try to direct the energy into something else, like playing a video game or exercising. I know everyone says the exercising thing, but just forcing my body to do something actually helped expel the anxious energy in a good way. Just a suggestion.

Since I've been dealing with this for 5-6 years, I can try to answer any questions you ladies have. Here to help however I can.

Hi Nikki, are you feeling any better since another 3 months has passed? Do you feel like you are back to your normal self?

Thank you so much M12 :)

Yeah when an attack happens i tend to lie down and get scared to move around.. i guess i should do the opposite and try to exercise..

Its been a tiring 4 month battle.. ugh. I just hope it will get better everyday.

Hi Kyleeso sorry to hear you have been having a bad day :( Yesterday was a bad setback day for me. I had an anxiety attack in the bank and i really felt like I was gonna pass out. I was dizzy the whole day and anxiety was rising every now and then.

I know what you feel.. health OCD because that is what I have. It's tiring to be constantly worried about everything. I hate the knot in my tummy whenever i think of things sooo irrational like im gonna die any moment.

Im so tired of always watching for what i feel everyday.

Unfortunately we have to ride it out unti) our body adjust completely :( what i do to help me feel better is meditate, pray, eat healthy and i should start exercising...

Try to go to naturopath. Ltheanine helps me calm down.

Praying for all of us here..

Junel is what did me in as well, I started taking it when my insurance dropped Lo loestrin (which was far from great, but I never had any anxiety on it).

I am hoping month 4 is a breakthrough month for me, today has been one of the best days I've had in ages and my sex drive seems to have returned, finally. Symptoms I've had pre and post stopping pill: anxiety mainly centered around my relationship, depression, sucidal thoughts, overall numbness and feelings of hopelessness. The worst seems to appear around my period. I'm not currently taking anything, I was previously taking an herbal supplement but I stopped after feeling that it was not really helping much

On the worst days, just hold on to hope. You can get through this!
