Yes i do i went for operation this month and now its back again....i don't know what to do now
I had sugery 3 years ago. It’s the worse pain ever. Hemorrhoids have returned. ☹️ I’ve changed my diet more fiber and more water.
I hate to think another surgery in my future.

I had the surgery 5 months ago— external and internal removed as well as a skin tag. The most painful recovery I’ve ever experienced (And I’ve had 2 C-sections). I have painful bowel movements and trouble going to the bathroom ever since. Now, I still have hemorrhoids and bleeding— possibly even worse than before the surgery. NOT WORTH IT.
I just had ny surgery 3 days ago. I also read a lot beofre I decided to get. And I was so scared from all the scary reviews I read about the pain. But my hemorrhoid was thrombosed and the pain it cause me I was sure was beyond any pain the surgey would. So I pulled myself together and had it done. It was under GA. The first day was painful on and off I was on pethidine every 6 hours and they packing they put inside was quite painful. But still it was an expected pain. The 2nd day i was discharged and the packing was removed. Now I walk fine, go up the stairs and the pain only comes on once orr day and I take diclofenac for it. The dr said I would be back to normal within 2 weeks. Keep my stool soft and not sit on my ass. I definitely don’t regret the surgery. The hemorrhoids were a nightmare I wish to never relive
I'm so with you on that! I am not wanting to repeat the operation, but I have hemmeroids again. I am using creams and wipes, and whatever else just to not go thru surgery again, but I feel that I'm gonna have to one day, because seems like it's getting worse.
My husband had Hemorrhoidectomy 3 years ago and started bleeding last week again with pain and he went to doc yesterday and he has hemorrhoids again.
Banding isn’t surgery. It’s only s temporary solution to get rid of the pile. If it was a one time thing that caused the pile, banding may work. Otherwise, chronic reccurence is not fixed with banding. You have to get the vain removed by a hemmroidectomy.
Absolutely correct. Banding is not surgery and neither is an injection. Even if you have a thrombosis hemmrhoid drained, that is not surgery. Those are bandaid solutions and recurrence is very high if you have chronic hemorrhoids. It’s actually pointless to have anything down.
The only chance at getting rid of them is with true surgery where they cut out the veins and tissue. But even this is no garuntee. The blood vessels in that area are more like a mesh or fabric. You can cut one out, but another vein make it pick up the same blood flow and cause the same issue later. Recurrence after true surgery is about 24% according to my doc.

I had a hemorrhoidectomy a year ago in July for several internal ones and a two external ones. I obtained a fissure after surgery where some sutures released early and the area didn't heal properly. It bleeds a little from time to time. But this past week I have begun having rectal bleeding again that is similar to what I had before my hemorrhoids were removed. I don't want to go to the doctor and spend more money trying to figure out if they've come back. The surgery is quite painful for the first 3 to 4 days, and then moderately painful for about a week after that. But if it can stop severe bleeding, it is worth it. The only thing is, if you were hereditarily prone to getting piles, then they may recur after surgery. I'm hoping that is not what is going on with me.
I had a hemorrhoidectomy in 2020 3/13 the Friday before the world shut down, they gave me a nerve block injection that is still causing me stiffness and pIn in my lower back… I am petite and I believe they hit a nerve in my back when the anesthesiologist injected me… my hemorrhoids were likely from 2 I medicated labors in 2 years. I have a pretty healthy diet, mostly grassfed/organic whole foods, lots of water and minimal junk, nevertheless after 3 years I find myself suffering from hemorrhoids with a possible prolapse.. 2 months ago I went a whole week without moving my bowels, I took a senna supplement and a chaotic cascade of constipation/diarrhea has ensued. I will never ever put myself through the trauma of a hemorrhoidectomy again but wtf?! I eat healthy, exercise, drink water, try not to strain… I suppose I could be genetically disposed since I’m pretty sure my dad also suffers from hemorrhoids but OMG after the surgery I assumed I was healed. 1/10 do not recommend
My doc used a med called Exparel. It really helped post op pain for a couple days. Look it up and find a surgeon who uses it.
My colo-rectal surgeon used exparel, which is like a long acting novacaine. Look it up. Find a good surgeon that uses it. My recovery was relatively easy. But now, two years later, I have some new ones. I'll have to be careful.
