I have had a red bump on the underside of my penis shaft near the base for a while now. It has been there at least a month or two. I am 19 and have never had sexual contact with anyone in that area. I am concerned about what this is, the only explanation I can think is that it is an ingrown hair as I do shave the area or something related to athletic activity that I do. It worries me because it has been there a long time and I have read an ingrown hair should have healed itself by now? The bump is semi-hard and no puss comes out when squeezed. It is red now because I have messed with it in the past 24 hours, so I have out neosporin on it along with ice. Can anyone help me ease my mind please??? I am concerned about what would happen if I did have sexual activity soon,
It is maybe 2 millimeters, and it does not hurt. It is just red because i messed with it. What are the risks of having sex with this if it is an ingrown hair if the condom did not cover the area or if it did cover the area?
