Wash face with baby shampoo or put head and shoulders dandruff shampoo on your face. I would also get on a food elimination diet, much better at figuring out food allerty. Stop using shampoo, soap lotion, go natural and organic, Watch every thing you touch, eat, or smell. Even breathing in air with mold spores or pollen dust mites etc can cause allergic reaction. i would stop all wheat dairy and sugar immediately these cross react and are not good when you are having allergic reaction Could be demodex mites

Get checked for demodex mites,. Put vaseline on your eyebrows this will sufflocate them then you will know but still get doctor treatment.
The prednisone is okay for few days but steriods just stop your body from reacting is not smarter to figure out the cause.
That is why I prefer Naturopathic doctor they seem to be better at figuring out the cause and getting to the root of it and then curing it My case it was fungal stopped all sugar/fruit strict vegan diet... got on anti fungal treatment medicine and cream. I put selsun blue shampoo on my eyebrows in the evening why I watched TV then before bed just rinsed it off and went to bed did this for about two weeks and it never returned,
My Chinese Medicine doctor always says it you have it on your skin then you gave it in your body Then skin is merely reflecting what is going on.

Hello, I"he had a rash around my eyes for last year. Wen't to allergist for patch test and appears I may be allergic to DMDM Hydrantoin which is a formadalyhide. I noticed a few conditioners I was using plus a few creams had this so not using anymore and appears is clearing out. I check out all products I use. Currently using Hill Country Essentials deep cleansing cream and the Free and Clear Shampoo and Conditioners, and eyes are so much better. Hope this helps someone.

Was there any swelling involved? Mine has what looks like blistering, but itchy too!

I once had a rash that extended from my eye to my eyebrow. It would itch and sometimes be tender. No matter how much I scrubbed wouldn't go away. Until I found out I had parasites. Once I cleanse my body with a herbal supplement it cleared up. It was a parasite specific cleanse. My boyfriend has the rash in the same exact spot as me and once he cleansed disappeared too. I don't know if it was caused by the parasites. But I had tried everything including steroids too and it didn't work for good until the cleanse

Hi I've also had these rashes so bad practically closed my eye I looked like I had been in a fight my dr prescribed PROTOPIC OINTMENT 0.1 percent/TACROLIMUS 0.1 percent. I can't believe the difference completely takes it away Still comes back but this keeps it in check twice a day. Hope this helps

My rash started with a tiny flake of skin at the edge of one eyebrow which would flake off in the morning, I used lotion and it appeared to work during the day, that was two years ago now it is around the entire top of my eyebrow and the other eyebrow, it does not itch, it became worse after I had a reaction to bacitrim antibiotic. Within an hour after the bacitrim I itched all over, turned red as a beet, and suffered tremendously. I was told to take benadryl an over the counter antihistimine which is also given to people who have bee stings or are stung by an asp, looks like a catapillar but it gray. The benadryl worked immediately, curing the itch, but now I have residual red spots on my forehead, it resembles acne but it is not acne. I never even had breakouts as a teenager. I have used NEOSPORIN cream but will try the yogurt. Some have suggested yeast infections follow treatment with antibiotics, so maybe monistat and a can of beer, which I do not like at all.

Also my eyes sting like crazy when they water, the tears sting a lot, painfully so.

My condition seems closely related to visits to the dentist, not just one but many due to referrals, my oral surgery is ongoing spread between visits to plane my teeth. I have been seeing dentist or different surgeons since September at least twice a month, it is now January. I have three more visits to go. I am sick of seeing doctors and dentist, the past three years have been so stressful I can't believe I haven't had a heart attack, three family members each required multiple surgeries for life threatening conditions, thus sleep deprivation while caring at home for post op bed patients. Anyone out there have an idea my dental is pay as you go, and I can't find a dermatologist willing to take new patients. Have you had any information you can share?

i just experienced this and, having my own skin care line, it freaked me out. I was afraid it was the line itself but after i discontinued, found women who never use anything but still go the same thing. I tried just about everything I could think of for eczema, wounds, dry skin then went back to my own remedies, realizing it wasn't my products. I made a calendula rosehip salve with beeswax, lavender and chamomile. It cleared up in 4 days. I am now thinking this may have been a bacteria.

I am 63 years young and also have the red itchy burning around my eyes and cheeks of my face I thought to put soothing cream but it burned like fire. I had started taking cefdinir 300 mg twice daily which is an antibiotic for pneumonia for about two weeks. I have been sick for about four months and thought my body was just stressed but it started really quickly and only thing I have been able to use to sooth it is cold water compress. I was recalling my granddaughter said my great grandson is allergic to the same medication so I looked up the symptoms of allergic reaction to cefdinir and it fits to a T. So I feel like in a matter of time it the rash will go away by itself but in the mean time no potions or lotions until it is cleared up I will try to repost if it does not work but if you have started any new medications always check there first for allergic reactions so you will know what you are to expect if you do have one. Best of luck to all and God Bless
