Thank f**k I've found something on this because I have had my spot/cyst for a few years now. It comes and goes but it's always the left side of my forehead. Id go as far to say it's the same pore... not that I can really know that for sure. But the skin is always super tight, red and sore. Honestly it's like summit out a cartoon like I've fell victim to a stray golf ball. And like everyone when I try to burst it only clear liquid comes out. Sometimes if I keep trying to burst it the skin gets saturated and peel away leaving the skin cut. Lucky I'm not a self conscious man.
Anyway, from reading this thread and a couple others I think I should put in my tuppons worth in.
Reading what someone, somewhere said about diet, there may be a correlation to coffee or dairy or dehydrated skin or a mix of all, for me at least.... Apparently blemishes on your forehead can mean a sign of high dietary fat. I drink plenty of coffee: either lattes from coffee shops or use whole milk in the house. I was never a particularly spotty teen but my 20's have been different. I'm now 26 and only reading these threads have I thought that this may of actually came about when I started drinking coffee which has only been in the last 5/6 years or summit. I otherwise eat relatively healthy with very little processed food so I'm quite confident that cutting down on coffee and milk and increasing the water I drink might help my problem. Dunno if that might help someone.
Will say though that something I found helped, that I fell out of routine doing. But even one if my colleagues who knew I was doing it tells me to do it again. If you followed that. Salt and freshly squeezed lemon juice. I've used tons of anti spot washes and products although admittedly never used prescribed medication. But this worked. I believe the logic behind it is that the salt exfoliates and dehydrates the spot/cyst. Whilst the the lemon juice is anti bacterial plus it's acidity boosts collegen. When I read it it said one tablespoon of salt to a teaspoon of lemon juice, although I slightly increased those quantities. And then just massage it on your, for a good couple of minutes though. It's a little uncomfortable on the skin cause the salt is gritty but it's not sore. Then rinse your face with warm then cold water. I'm claiming no wonder cure, and maybe it won't work on everyone but I'll give the warning incase someone tries it: don't put lemon juice directly on to your skin on its own and don't do it before going in to the sun cause the lemon will increase your chance of burning, it's the opposite to SPF.

I have the same bumps, I think it's caused by craft beer I drink. Stopped them and the bumps have not returned. I can drink some regular beers with no breakout.

Craft beer caused mine, had it for years, switched to a corona, no more breakouts, those red bumps hurt.

Brooke Spiegler syndrome. If they look like this, it may be it.

I'm 16 and don't have any acne or anything of that nature and never had. I take extra good care of my skin, I stick to a very clean organic and successful daily skin health routine and have very clear skin. Yet I get these bumps. Usually somewhere on my cheek bones. I've never gotten a bad pimple but every few months I will get one of the red bumps. I only get one at a time and theyre painful. Only with time will they subside and disappear. I defiantly think they're stress related. But mostly related to PMS. My past cycle was 5 days late and it was a painful and bad period. On the last day of it all a red bump appears. I'm thinking it's PMS, stress or stress caused by PMS. For the pain, icing it before bed helps and also reduces swelling. Taking a hot bath or tryint to "steam" your face using the skin or a pit of water helps a lot with opening the pores and making it less stiff. Personally time it's the best way to heal it. Just let the boil rock let it do its thing. Squeezing it makes it so much worse.

Hi, I have something like this. I have a small round red oval bump on my face about the size of a pinky nail. At first I thought it was a little sun burn but it has been the same for about a month. The only difference is that it's starting to hurt a little more. Please help if you know how to heal something like this! Thank you so much!

I'm getting these too, they seem to begin deep under layers of skin. It takes several days for them to go away. The ones I get usually leave a hole with this circle of peeled off skin surrounding the area that it all origionated, like whatever fluid inside that comes out seems to leave a type of burn around the affected area, causing the surrounding area to be affected by leaving a circle of peeled off skin. The whole thing takes several days to heal,

Might sound silly but using hemoride cream helps with the swelling and pure tea tree oil for the redness and sore

I can vouch for the tea tree oil being effective but it should be used regularly if your skin is already prone to be naturally oily like mine is. I'm also 25 and have never had any problems with acne before in my life until recently. I don't know about the rest of you but I believe that for women at least ive noticed since I got one of those IUD's placed my face has been extremely prone to breakouts of the raised painful blister like bumps all over both sides of my face and chin and temples. I have tried many different methods of birth control as I am allergic to latex and therefor can't use most condoms. And let me tell you the hormones that birth control uses to keep you from getting pregnant can cause a number of other side effects. So while our hormones are out of whack it releases chemical signals in our brains that can lead to over production of the oils underneath our skin. Very important not to try to pop them! If they don't have a head don't fuss with them. Best advice I can give is to get to a planned Parenthood clinic before trump closes them all and speak with a doctor free and confidential.

It may be an infection stemming from your teeth. Producing bumps not unlike abcesses that flare up when your body encounters toxic things, then drain when youre resting.
They dont go away because you need antibiotics and to have your teeth looked at and cared for., they just drain into your body when they arent being flooded with the infection. A lymphatic cleanse may be helpful as well because your lymph nodes are responsible everytime they go down and lay dormant. When you sleep, thats when your body goes into repair mode and they drain into ur lymphatic system.

I am 65 years old and just developed this about a year ago. Water filled raised bumps that I thought were acne and a thickening and reddening of the skin underneath. I tried everything I could think of to get rid of it including adjustment of hormones I take, I stopped eating dairy products and increased veggies and vitamins, light therapy, and a number of acne medications. I FINALLY FIGURED OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON!!!!!
After reading countless articles, it seemed to me that this might not be acne at all but was instead rosacea. Guess what? It was. I stopped using everything that I'd tried before and purchased Prosacea gel at Walmart for less than $10.
I've now been using it for about 2 weeks and my face is completely clear for the first time in a year. I believe I'm probably going to have to continue using it indefinitely because new bumps keep trying to come up but this gets rid of them in a day or two.
If you're going to try this there is one thing that you absolutely have to stop doing and that's touching them at all. Wash your face, part it dry, put the gel on wherever required and keep your hands off! If you mess with them, they will not heal and the gel won't work.
I used the gel 4 times a day when I first started (only washed twice though) and now I'm down to applying twice a day.
I don't know if this will work for everyone but it has definitely worked for me and I'm thrilled. Having a broken out face was really hard on my self esteem but that's all behind me now.
Good luck and I hope it works for you!
