Never use peroxide on your face unless a doctor tells you to. I had a small pimple on my chin, I picked at and it got bigger. I started to put Neosporin on it but someone suggested peroxide was the miracle cure. I tried it then had a staph infection with a terribly painful, red, burning, oozing sore on my chin that lasted a month. It swelled up and also swelled my neck, chin, lip - I was so swelled my lips were going sideways up my face.

So I used to try everything as well and after some testing of my own, I realized that the cause of water filled zits is typically (and definitely in my case) a result of a gluten allergy. I cut all gluten out for a week and they cleared up instantly. Ate gluten again and HELLO! The reason they are waterfilled is because they are actually a result of inflammation rather than pus build up.

I had previously been diagnosed with rosacea but this time the red sores and flaky patches were all over my face. I went to Dermatoligist and he prescribed Oracles (doxycycline) 40mg once a day and Soolantra Cream 1% once a day topical and Aquanil HC lotion (sold over the counter) This is already helping.
Before this I was using tea tree oil which helped a lot.
The prescriptions he gave me were horribly expensive. But because my insurance did not cover one and my deductible for the other was $7,000.00 my doctor sent it to a specialty pharmacy in Virginia and they helped with some kind of amazing manufacture coupons. One med would have been $650.00 but this pharmacy helped and got it for me for $50 the other med would have been $565.00 but they were able to fill it for $50 as well. The Specialty Pharmacy said they can help with some dermatological meds because many insurance companies won’t cover the mess or if you have no insurance. This wonderful pharmacy is Loudoun Family Pharmacy in Leesburg, VA They said that the Manufacturers allow them to help those in need with coupons.
Before these medications I was getting some relief by washing my face using a cotton ball with diluted apple cider vinegar, rinsing with cool water on a new cotton ball and then applying organic tea tree oil with a fresh cotton ball. The tea tree oil helped sooth my skin and helped the recovery of my skin.
I know I’m saying a lot but I cane to this site in desperation and looking for help. I didn’t find a lot of help so now that I am finally on the mend I wanted to come back and share. I hope my words can help some of you. I wish you all well.
By the way the Dermatologist said that it is becoming a belief in his medical community that the culprits that may be causing our problem are the notes that naturally live on everyone’s skin. Perhaps we are allergic to the little buggers or perhaps stress weakens us and then they effect us differently.

I don't know if anyone is still following this thread, but deep, really painful subcutaneous fluid filled 'blisters'/ bullae between the dermis and the epidermis that never come to a head and just drain clear fluid? I started getting them in my 30s and assumed it was some kind of adult-onset acne or rosacea, or a virus. It's not. It's an ALLERGIC REACTION - a form of contact dermatitis.I get them from touching my face after touching surfaces cleaned with MANY household chemicals or inadvertently sprayed with certain fragrances. Wash your hands , OFTEN.Avoid touching your face. Use gloves when exposure is likely. Use simple "old school" preparations like diluted bleach or ammonia for cleaning, and unscented/hypoallergenic soaps and shampoo, etc for personal care and laundry (e.g. anything with Febreeze, most Dow products, & all of my wretched child's hair products make me look like a leper for a week and I cannot even walk into a hair salon anymore...). When you feel one coming on, start applying a cream containing diphenhydramine hydrochloride in zinc (lots of brand names, benadryl the most popular) right away. IF the pressure is so bad that you must drain one, use a sterilized needle, but don't squeeze.Trust me , I 've lived with these for 20 years and wouldn't wish this on Hitler. Good Luck to all.

how is your stress level? I have found that, that has more to do with complexion issues with myself rather than sugar, soft drinks and cleanliness. just thought I'd offer that as a possibility...stress kills it's a known fact and trying to live without drama and things that some others thrive on is a hard thing to do

I get these red bumps also, actually I only have a couple and they usually are in the same spot. I noticed sometimes I get them if I use make up wipes and then wash my face it’s almost like my skin can’t handle watching the face twice. Years ago I was diagnosed with rosacea so I do believe this might be a symptom of rosacea.  My dermatologist then years ago, told me to use use  Eucerin cream the really thick one. If I get them in time I can make the bumps go away but if not it almost becomes boil like. One time a doctor squeezed it and it became almost like a blood blister. Someone on this forum suggested using medicated Chapstick. Yesterday I went out and bought it and it seems to be going down. I think it’s worth a shot.
