I am sure that you have heard a lot of sad stories about rheumatoid arthritis. Well, here is another one. I am waking in pains with joints that are not capable for moving for an hour or so in the morning. I was using Diclofenac but it didnt help me much so doctor plans to change my treatment and to give me Azulfidine. Is there anything I should know about this medication?
First I must tell you that you have to be patient with Azulfidine, because it may take 1 to 3 months before you notice any improvement. Also you it would be smart to take it same time each day so you dont forget about it. Do not chew, crush or break tablet if you are taking delayed release tablets. And drink a lot of fluids not to end up with kidney stones.
