hi i am 18 years old and i got a really have period for the past two days, i mean i have to change my pad every half hour and today my second day so many big chunks keep falling out and i feel it coming out. is that normal, i mean there is no chance of pregnancy or miscarriage because i have not have had sex yet, i am still a virgin. I also getting really bad cramps and my back hurts a lot. Is it normal for your boobs to hurt during this time because mine hurt a lot. Thanks in advance for answering my questions.
What if your 12 and not pregnant eww ?
I am 49 and not on birth control. I thought I was hemorrhaging this morning. It's happened before and can be very scary. From what I've read, it is normal. I took a hot shower, put in an Ultra tampon, used a large pad, put my jeans on and am getting back in bed to lay on my side. Thanks, Eve, for eating that forbidden fruit. Ugh
yep, no worries ladies. I'm having my first period in two months after getting the depo shot and the same fleshy chunk everyone has mentioned appeared in my pad yesterday. as mentioned initially, it is part of your endometrium and is just thicker than you are used to seeing because it has had longer to build up. totally common, no cause for alarm
I'm not on the pill and am on my period at the moment.. the day before yesterday I pulled my tampon out but at it looked at the string there was a huge clot attached to the string I pulled it out and clothing extended and wrapped around the tampon and above it... then a couple of hours later I felt a large heavy lump leave my body... I went to the loo and there was a large mass filling the whole of my crutch..I removed it and it filled the whole of my palm.. it was an inch think in places... I was so shocked.. it has happened before a few times but never this large and it is day 7of my period...also it was the first time I had sharp pains very low down and below at the front.. I do have contraction like period pains when I'm on but this was different.. I'm very fertile and have large babies(last one 10.5lb) and I'm 53... everyone here mentions 50p size clots.. mine were as big as the palm of my hand.. any nurses or docs here who may have any reassuring words that this also normal Maria
Omg go away. Without modern medicine the average lifespan would be till the 40s as it was historically and not in the 80s. Take your ignorance somewhere else and stop spreading fear mongering information
People need to stop telling women to calm down when they have questions about their bodies. Asking isn't the same as panicking. You're just being responsible with your health!
The same thing happened to me. It first happened after I started skipping my period with birth control. I went to the emergency room & they thought I had a miscarriage but OB/GYN said everything looked normal & it was probably just lining that didnt break down. It happened to me again recently after skipping my period for one month.
Okay same thing just happened to me, is it normal? Should it just come out like that? It was very very thick too.
Thank you so much, I was freaking out!

Now you’re thinking! Stay natural!
If I were to stay “natural” I’d end up dying. My periods are so irregular I’ll vleed for up to 3 months at a time. I’ve actually had to go on disability and was looking at blood transfusions. If anything the pill and iron supplements saved my life.
Hello I recently thought I started my period and then took my tampon out and there was a skin like sheet of tissue very thick and large on it. What could this be? Sorry it's very graphic.
