hello, my name is april and i am 30 yrs. old. i have 2 children and was diagnosed with polycystic ovarys when i was 18. I have lived every physical symptom known to man, been on metformin for 11 yrs. i was having some problems like cramping and hip pain along with my tailbone and difficulty urinating and last but not least severe abdominal bloating run down tired lack of concentration and ready to give up. i went to the dr. brought my long list of problems and she ordered an ulta sound that revealed a septated ovarian mass on my right ovary. AT LAST im not crazy. She started doing cancer markers on me and they came back negative today but says im not out the woods yet. It has to come out. Are these septated mass's usually cancer? Dr. says mine does not have any fluid in it. surgery is next week. What should i expect?
I also wonder what is septated poplieal cyst and is it serious?
