posted on this site a couple of months ago about some symptoms and was said its epididymitis, i got treated for this and my overall feeling in my testicles got better.

However there was one main spot which always worried me, it is on the top of my right testicle, for some reason that place is tender and sensitive to touch or any pressure, if i feel over it i can feel its not right.. if i exert a slight pressure then the pain is shot through me, its terrible

i had this before my epididymitus now its still here, is there any ideas? im going back to my doctors now as i have had enough, you just wanna get on with your life but cant with this still going on.

any help please.
Have you been checked if the epididymis inflammation were gone after the course of antibiotics you were taking. The thing you are describing is the exact location of the epididymis.

It is a lumpy tube situated on top and at the back of the testicle. These lumps can be sometimes felt even if there weren’t any inflammations. Testicles are tender anyway, so don’t you think that you may be scared of going through the same thing all over again?
Is your doctor an urologist?

You should also know that some guys develop chronic epididymitis. This means that you are experiencing the symptoms even if the bacteria were not present and there were no infections. It is not known what exactly triggers it but you may want to ask your doctor. There are some risk factors for developing chronic ep. These are: previous acute ep; exposure to sexually transmitted diseases and genito-urinary surgeries.

Make sure the doc you see is an urologist.

I was told by my Urologist, I was suffering from epididymitis based on a very long length of suffering right testiclular pain. I have gone through all the tests - urine, blood, ultra-sound, x-ray and other exams, and the only thing I've been told to date is, there is fluid buildup in the right testicular area and this accounts for the pain. Apparently there are no other signs of abnormalities, though, at times the pain shoots all the way to my lower right abdomen. I have not yet experienced some of the signs other men are describing here, though, my pain is constant and my most comfortable position is laying down with my right leg lower or higher than my heart itself. Though my pain is constant - it does dull some but it never goes away totally. With this pain and while walking - I have to do the embarrassing process of shoving my hand deep into my pocket and actually hold my balls tight, hence, to get to the nearest bench or store, where I might be able to sit down. I suffer very intense pain and at times so intensely sharp - I break out in sweats in severity. I have suffered this pain going on 3 years now and my Urologist tells me, the only recourse to this pain, is patience against time as epidiymitis takes an unusually long time to go away on its own. Painkillers do not work and antibiotics have not worked either. I really am at a loss with myself on this matter also, as I surely had thought this chronic pain would have dissipated some by now. In my case, rather than waiting out time for a self cure - I am finding my situation worsening. My Urologist has done the lazor through the penis numerous times to date, yes - I can pee better but it remains a must to tell a partner to "not" touch the testicles as any touch, other than my own self controlled touching will surely make me jump to the ceiling. Indeed, this is a tear jerking issue and it hurts horribly when my doctor or Urologist scope or feel around the testicle area...I simply have to turn my face, hold my breath and hope the doc's are finished with their examinations in seconds. I am 54 and have experienced pain before but this is a pain, in an area of the body, making one non-ambulatory. My Urologist also told me never to go for a vasectomy as this caused the equal problems in men and forcing men to have the vasectomy reversed in hopes of betterment. This stated, I too remain at a complete loss as to what to do in many instances, I can no longer walk lengthy distances and sexual activity is at best at ordeal since the pain makes it very difficult to concentrate to orgasm. I hope there is somebody else out there who has been told a similar story by a Urologist and I will hope to see some replies regarding this matter. Thanks in advance!
