Did she get checked for H. Pylori and Candida Overgrowth? Google both and go to a Naturopath (not conventional doctor). Conventional doctors don't believe Candida is real however real people (like me) who have suffered through the effects believe otherwise. She may also be suffering from food allergies. I am allergic to dairy- especially cheese- didn't know it- and would get increasingly sick the older I got after I ate it. I tested highest as allergic to Cheddar cheese in particular. Naturopath doctors are more expensive but worth it. As for the possibility of H. Pylori, it's a bacteria that naturally lives inside you however when it gets out of control (like Candida) it burrows like a corkscrew into the small intestine to the left of the belly button which causes a lot of pain.... I'm sorry she is going through this. I wish you best of luck and for her recovery!
I thank you for taking the time to answer me and I will Google these and research all I can. Thank you again....I will keep you posted !
you can be having trouble digesting something, this happened to me then I realized it happened when i ate bread/things with yeast and now that i stopped eating that i no longer feel it, , could be gases as well
I've been having the same issues for the past few years, everything came back normal, and come to find out, it is Irritable Bowel Syndrome caused by stress.
Your symptoms and circumstances are identical to mine. Did you ever get a diagnosis?
I have the same pain as yours,I've been experiencing this for almost a year and half, sometimes its very painful and sometimes not really but I feel discomfort on that side,it takes only a seconds sometimes 30mins. come and go,3 or 4times a month,my abdomenal x ray seems normal, sometimes I'm having a constipation, like IBS. Specially when I am stress, no vomiting and I do gain some weight,I hope its not that serious.like problem in colon,I'm so scared and all I can do is pray when it hurts.
It probably IBS Irritable bowel syndrome, if all test are normal and you have this weird taste in your mouth I think it's IBS you have the symptoms, just goggle it.I think I have it too, specially when I'm stress and have a panic attack
ok, I just started getting this so I Googled it and found this thread of others with the same symptoms. So, what do we all have in common?.... first of all, that's the area of bottom of stomach and large colon crosses over stomach. One thing I have 'changed' recently that I might question is I switched to 'Gummie' vitamins, multi and the hair skin and nails. The regular ones are so 'big' I can't hardly swallow them and if I break them in half they have sharp edges.... I also take Caltrate and just started taking CoQ10. Could it be one of these causing this pain? .....I do try to chew the gummies real well but sometimes I am in a hurry. Could one of this vitamins be laying on bottom of stomach not dissolving properly?... or could this be a colon problem?.... I have noticed that passing makes it better or worse but it's still there.....and it's strange that we ALL have the same exact spot and type of pain!
Wow not good. That is there only thought that's it's the gallstone but hate to take it out if it's not
I do notice it more when I'm laying down
Just found this thread. I could have written this. Did you ever find out what it was?
I literally am currently experiencing the exact same thing. I had pain in different spots in my abdomen and an upset stomach for a while and at some point had to go to the toilet frequently and had sore spots around my kidney area so thought I had a UTI the pain went away after approx after 5 days same with frequent urination and now have just a sore spot about 3cm in circumference left of my belly button
Same. Does it happen when you stay in a certain position for a while.
I have been troubling with pain also...off and on ....one difference is that I feel a little hard spot like the size of a bean when I push slightly on it. My Dr told me it is fat there and if the pain get worse then I should have it removed. I am going in for a test etc...in the coming week ..sometimes it can be as much as a 4 on a scale of 1to 5...but I can tolerate pain but want to really find out what it is.. I know fir a fact it is nit gas pain.. but we female have alot of different irgans etc on our left side.. wishing everyone the best...bj
I have this too. Started a few weeks ago. Sharp sporadic pain left of my belly button, occasionally right of my belly button as well. The pain I can deal with, although its unpleasant. More than anything, it just scares me, maybe this is a warning sign that some organ is in trouble.
Whatever it is, it's inflammation, so I've been trying to eat an anti-inflammation diet, and I'm looking into supplements that help to decrease inflammation.
I got a bunch of blood tests run including tests to assess how my pancreas is doing. The results should be emailed to me any day now, hopefully they will give me some leads on this curious case of abdominal pain.
