All, READ REVIEWS CAREFULLY!!! I didn't and regret it. I was on this program for 3 weeks. I learned a lot in that time. First, the staff were rude, arrogant, and lack any knowledge of nutrition or diet. Once, I was given a lecture not to eat carrots again. When asked why, I was told not on program. When I ask what is wrong with carrots. I was rudely told, not on the program list. Then, I was told not to eat a pear. I asked why. Not of the list was the rude answer. Again, no real information given.
Then, there is the so-called testing. Sure, a blood test makes sense to begin. I'll give you that. Then, there is the urine testing each time for Ketones. Supposedly, this tells them your losing weight. My doctor and internet search says it ain't that simple. Ketones only indicate your body is processing protein and fat to make glucose. It could be from what you eat or your own body. A urine test can't tell you which. So, this testing really doesn't tell if you losing weight or not. And then the straw that broke the camel's back, the XRAY. They demand that you have a set of chest x-rays. For what I asked. The answer was part of program. Really, an x-ray for fun??? They demanded, I said no, so they terminated my program. Sure, a few days later, they changed their mind. But the damage was done. I'd never go back now. They treat you like c**p then beg you to come back. Stupid.
Another scam, They say Dr. B. requests these tests at a lab or diagnostic place. Really? Dr. B. is not licensed to practice in Alberta. He can't order jack sh*t here. So, they use a proxy. Nice chap. A retired doctor who consults. When, we chatted, he didn't seem to care about the blood test or x-ray. His name was just used by the clinic to order these shams.
The vitamin shots. I went online and asked my doctor, I find that B vitamins have not been found as an aid to weight loss. The Mayo Clinic posted research on this. They are not harmful but not really a benefit either. Another, part of the Dr. B. marketing to make the program sound scientific.
The staff was unpleasant, rude and arrogant. First, they have no knowledge of what they are doing beyond THE LIST. Can't answer basic questions. They are there just because the law says you need to be at least a LPN to give shots. That is their only function.
I would not recommend this program. It is too expensive and unrealistic. If you want to try, just buy their list/cookbook and do it on your own. Drug store vitamins and the book is all there is to this program.

So...at the start they request you take a long list of blood tests and an x-ray. Blood tests sort of make sense. The X-ray never did. When I asked staff, including the franchise manager, nobody could explain what the x-ray was for. Then, each time you go in, they do a urine test and give you vitamins.
So, after a couple weeks, I decided to research further these tests and shots. I could not find any reliable source to support the claims. This made me suspicious of the whole plan......
So, after about 3 weeks, they demanded the x-ray. For what, I asked. No answer was provided. So, I said no. The manager then said I was expelled from the program. Really? I was paid up for 8 weeks. Fine, I said, if that is your attitude. Several days later, I received a call back saying they changed their mind. I could finish the 8 weeks. Guess the x-ray wasn't so important......
Further, I re-read reviews posted online. Positive posts had a common thread. People early in the program who saw early results. Critics were people who were in the plan for awhile and saw the long term results. I will not tell you my conclusions, read for yourselves with my comments in mind.
I think my experience speaks for itself.......
