I had this for about 3 years, I tried everything and no doctor could tell me what it was, they would just say try hand creams and things like that. I went on holiday for 2 weeks and when I got home I realised it went away, once I got back to my regular lifestyle it came back again. I had a long hard think about what I was doing differently while on holiday and I realised I wasn't having my usual with breakfast cereal with SOY MILK. I did a trial and stopped drinking Soy milk and consuming soy products and other legumes and it went away and has been gone about 10 years. Worth a try! Test yourself and look at what you are eating and what you may not be eating enough of, remove certain food types or add others for a week or two and see if your condition changes, its amazing what sort of reactions you can get from too much or too little of something in your diet.

Hi there...

My son also has the peeling of palms and fingers without any other side effects, he was also sick and dr thought it could be as a result but it continues and peels more now more than 3 weeks later. He recently started swimming lessons. Could it be chlorine.. are any of you with similar posts swimming twice or more a week? My husbands hands peel from chlorine.. could be genetic?

Please let me know.

I have something like this. With mine it just goes away after a long while. I have had this for a few years as a i recall and i don't think it's anything to worry about. Except for the sensitive skin underneath that sorta hurts when you touch stuff with too much force.
