Hi All, I hope you can help me find answers on this issue.  Since my teenage years, I'm fairly certain before being sexually active, I've had almost like a ring of small bumps around the base of my penis, kind of going all the way around but the more significant ones on the bottom sides. They are skin color, and barely raised.

At times, these can pop much like a pimple, but more often than not they do not.

The more recent development in the last couple years, is some of these bumps have become more defined, almost like a small smooth wart or skin tag. It isn't very protruding, but a light pick would cause them to slightly bleed.

I am not sure if this is two separate things, or development of one thing, or anything I should be worried about.

Additionally, and I know this may be a bit effed up, I've recently taken nail clippers to these couple bumps, and with triple antibiotic and a bandaid, they do pretty much just turn into a small, no longer raised scar. They are less painful to cut than normal skin would be, but do tend to bleed initially fairly significantly.

Any input would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Hey guest so I can’t say for sure but it sounds like you may be describing fordyces spots. Are they like tiny grains of sand under your skin? How old are you now? Did they start showing go about the time you started puberty?
