If your mom "won't let you" go to a doctor, then go to the emergency room and call a social worker. If you are a minor, you need to seek help from your neglectful parent, if you are an adult, you seem to need some other kind of help if your mother has control of you to that extent. No on has the right to prevent another human being from getting medical attention.

The left side of my throat burns when I breathe in deeply. Oddly, I tend to notice this burning sensation even more when air hits my throat when I'm brushing my teeth. This started 3 weeks ago when I was helping a friend clean out his basement after a flood. The basement had mold on the walls which may have given me some type of bacterial infection. Worth noting, he had an air quality test done and it wasn't toxic mold.

Yeah sounds like strep throat , unless u are also experiencing fever , fatigue, and sore body then its mono , i got mono right now and its only the right side with white and soreness left , went thru hell doc said i had to reat for 6 weeks i rested for 5 days and im back to my normal

So I ha e had this for about a week now, I have a like sharp pain when I swallow only on the right side, as if something is stuck, but it doesn't occur all the time but always threw out the day and it's getting worse and harder to swallow, it's like a staging pain in my throat.
