I went to a wedding about two weeks ago and hooked up with one of the brides mades and about two days later i had a sore throat and a cold. I thought it was from too much alcohol but two weeks down the road its STILL HERE. I started taking amoxicilin about a week and a half ago and the sore throat went away but the cold didnt. I ran out of the antibiotic and the soar throat came back and now it is really bad. I wake up and i spit in a cup of water and their is a white cloudy substane in my spit. My right lymph node is swollen and right now it is only the right side of my throat that hurts, but only when i swallow. Does anyone have ANY idea as to what this might be???!!!!??? :'( :'(
