I started getting a sore throat about a month ago that got increasingly worse for a couple of weeks, I was losing my voice and not able to fall asleep/stay asleep at night because of it. I have gotten my voice back over the last week and can sleep, but the left side of my throat is still hurting a bit, not seriously painful, but it is worrying me that it is still hurting, there was a little blood in my throat this morning but I am not for SURE that it came from the throat thing. I should probably go to a doctor but I am a poor college student and the doctors in this town are terrible, so they are definitely my last resort. Do you have any idea what this might be so that I can look into it on my own or be able to bring up what it might be to the doctor that I go too? I would really appreciate some advice!
It could be strep. I had the same thing, won't go away without antibiotics.
