Sores on fore leg front itchy

There have been posts in this thread about different skin ailments but to the original post or others with lower leg sores that do not heal check this web site and see if maybe this applies to you.

What I believe it we all have is a dermatofibroma, they tend to appear in your fortys  and older and are classic on the shins. I've used gold bond medicated lotion and it seems to help. This can last for months

Everyone, try tea tree oil, A few drops on the itchy sore while in the bath or shower and ahhhhh.. releif! Its been the only thing that heals my shin up once it flairs up for whatever reason. Thanks- gary

I don't know if yours is the same as what I use to experience but I use to have a constant itching feeling on the backside of my hand to the point I would scratch for so long it would draw blood. The dermatologist stated it was stress related and triggered by such , and diagnosed as "lichen simplex chronicis" or however it is spelled!; I had just moved in with boyfriend at 22 1/2 which was against my upbringing, and thus causing stress, and this condition! That stopped after a year or so but every now and then I do experience itching attacks again and drawing blood for no apparent reason but not as severe as it was before! It is amazing what stress will do to you after that I got two more permanent stress related disorders and they have been so disruptive to my life and family!

I have the same itchy bumps that turn into larger scabs and Im using hand sanitizer with great success. Try hand sanitizer.

I was very interested to read your post! I have also had a rash that starts out with little bumps that itch so bad I have no choice but to scratch them. it also turns yellow and crusty and by the time the ones I scratched open start to heal there are new one started. I just had a baby she is 14 months old, and I have been battling it with her also, she has it on the front of her skin below the knee and little circle patches on her shoulders. Mine starts in my armpits and works down my sides. I am telling you the itch is so bad I used Benadryl until it didn't work anymore, now they have given me a prescription so I can at least sleep. My daughter scratches like crazy, we have tried all kinds of doctors/dermatologists and they all say its dermatitis, that bull----, just a way to get rid of us. I am going to check that website out right now, but I have a couple questions. Does your leak a clear fluid when you first start scratching them. and is your skin sensitive where they continually came back.

First thing you guys should do is change your diet, eliminate wheat , soy, eggs and any other common allergies . Don't eat refined foods and white flour/ sugar.. Obv eating healthy plays a huge part on our health and will go along ways to clearing skin disorder like you guys are experiencing.. Sounds like ur liver is over loaded and is having problems handling toxins created from the chemical processes inside your body. I'd recommend taking milk thistle, NAC, and vitamin C daily. Doing that, eliminating unhealthy processed foods and implementing a healthy diet will help clear up and prevent that rash/ sore from coming back. Cheers N.P.d

Hi,Above description by Joshua fits my condition.One exception is, that my "rash" is extremly painful and has lasted going on to the fourth year .Original rash happened after I made contact with chicken feces and dry cement when I lost my balance while getting eggs from the hen.All extremities were originally involved.When "rash'went away,about two weeks later, all this sores were visible ,itchy,yes,but much more painful. I have been to five different specialists and two dermatologists and no one can tell me what it is. The treatment was cortisone salve,but it burned and increased pain . I have isolated myself from all social activity.I feel desolate.

Would you tell me the amount  of what you recommend and how often.I also need something topical . If this is not to much to ask,I would be happy to hear from you .

look up candida. Yeast overgrowth. You need to do a cleanse, then get rid of all the sugar in your diet. Start there, you will see it disappear. Good luck!

I have the same thing I read on line some where it could be from a bacterial infection. They had a picture and it look exactly what I had! Hope this helps!

I HAVE HAD LESIONS ON ME FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS. THEY START OUT AS VERY TINY RED DOTS WITH RAISED AREA UNDERNEATH. THEY ITCH SO BADLY AND I SCRATCH THEM EVEN THOUGH IO KNOW I SHOULDN'T. THEY TURN INTO HORRIBLE LOOKING LEASIONS AND STAY WITH ME FOR MONTHS. I HAD JUST HAD A SKIN BIOPSY WHICH WAS NEGATIVE FOR CANCER,INFESTATIONS, ETC. BUT NO WORD ON WHAT THEY ARE. I WAS ALSO TOLD BY THE DERMATOLOGIST ASSISTANCE THAT I AM SCRATCHING THESES THINGS MYSELF AND CAUSING THEM MYSELF. I KNOW I AM NOT DOING THIS TO MYSELF. WHY WOULD I?

I HAD A SEVERE STAPH INFECTION WHEN I WAS IN NURSING SCHOOL IN 1979 BUT I AM NOT SURE STAPH COULD LIVE DORMANT FOR THAT LONG AND THEN SHOW UP AGAIN BUT WHO KNOWS???

Could be lupus do a search for lupus sores and see if they match any of the sores pictured. My doctor thinks lupus is what is causing my sores.
