We'll this has been a very interesting read to say the least, first thing to say is in relation to those who think there may be a relation to being circumcised. There isn't , outside of the us it's unusual to be circumcised unless you are Jewish or have had some kind of medical problem, I am not circumcised.

i developed angio spots in my mid teens, I am now in my mid twenties and still have them on shaft and balls. my sexual partners have never seemed to care once explained but it is a self confidence killer. I have had numerous doctors inspect and all have said they are totally harmless, I remember one day I straight up asked my doctor if they would ever go away. To which I received a firm an spirit breaking.... No.

being on the shaft too is very disheartening, I have never tried anything to remove them thus far but this week the mission has begun, I am starting at the bottom with a certain fordyce gel just to see if it has any affect, although from what I've read it is likely a load of hogwash, no pun intended.

If various creams and gels I have on my agenda do not work I will be moving onto solder, cuatery and acid until something works. I will post back with my findings in due course, I advise all reading who have this to post because with our shared knowledge and experience we too can have enviable manhood haha. Keep your heads up and don't let it get to you too much,  my sex life is awesome even with them.

Buy a proper cautery tool from ebay. They are cheap. It is easier, more precise and much more hygenic.

@Missions - I'm also uncircumcised and I am a similar age to you. I made my last post 7 months ago and that's roughly around the same time I treated my spots.

Since then the same spots have come back as I didn't burn them completely off. But I havn't noticed anymore appear in that time as I inspect myself daily.

For the ones I did burn completely off that scabbed perfectly they have not returned. I'm hoping that no more will appear besides the ones I currently have.

Something else I would like to ask everyone else that frequents this topic is which vein do they appear on?

For me it is just a single vein which is purple in color. Under good white light I can see that these spots only appear connected to this particular vein on the right side of my scrotum.

So after a year of reading this forum, I finally did it this morning. I used a soldering iron and a little alcohol solution, nothing else. It stings a little, but it's okay. Except one spot, that poped up and disappeared right away, I'm not very impressed for the moment: most of the angiokeratomas  made a little sound and the tip turned white, but they didn't go away suddenly. On a bigger one (3 mm I guess), I used the soldering iron maybe 8 or 10 times (didn't feel a thing, I hope it was not a mole), it only got scratched. I hope they will be all gone in 24/48 hrs, like some people have said on this board before, otherwise I'll give it another try. At least I used the soldering iron method on a skin tag I had on my groin: it turned black (no pain at all) and I cut it with a pair of small scissors (there was a little blood, but it's alright after a few minutes).

I'm waiting a few days before I can really recommend this method, but at least I can reassure you guys that you shouldn't be too afraid of the pain.

I wanted to give thanks to all my fellow angiokeratoma brotheren who shared their techniques and advice to give rid of the hellish little spots.  If it wasn't for those of you before me, taking a 400 degree soldering iron to your nuts, I would have never had the guts or idea to do it myself.

I have angiokeratoma all over the left side of my nards.  Today I bought a $9.99 25 watt soldering iron pen at RadioShack and removed about 15 off my testicles.  I wasn't too nervous, because I really hate these angiokeratoma spots, but I must admit it stung a little more than I thought.  I will be doing some touchup next week and I'm considering using some type of numbing cream/gel as some members have suggested.  I still can't believe it though, I'm 31 years old and have had these spots since I was about 28.  Now they're gone, the soldering iron just melted them into my flesh colored skin.

The guy who came up with the soldering iron technique should earn a Nobel Peach Prize. Angiokeratoma looks like a frickin STD!  And it absolutely killed my confidence.  About a month ago, I got a little intimate with a girl I was seeing.  It was her 'time of the month', so she decided to give me a tuggy instead of having intercourse.  But giving a tuggy means she got a good look at my nuts.  I'll never forget her face, it scrunched up then she lifted the side with the angiokeratoma and made an even worse face.  After that day I never heard from her again.  I knew it was because she thought I had an STD.  I can't blame her it does look horrible.  But after that episode, I began looking for an effective cure and thank god for you guys here!!  Now I can go back to my womanizing ways and getting tuggy's without having to worry.

anyone try accupuncture?

also, have you guys had trauma to your testicles before? i recall in middle school i was kicked really hard... i had a varicocele after that... but not sure if the kick in the nuts was a contributing factor...

I can't seem to get all these spots to go away with the soldering iron method. I've tried it twice. Both times I eliminated maybe 25% of them for good, another 25% went away and came back, and the rest didn't seem to respond at all.

Any suggestions from those who've had success? Should I do it more frequently? Keep hitting the ones that are obviously not going away after a few days?

In reply to guest on 5/9/14 10:30 PM it's now been about 1.5 years since I first saw these spots and they don't seem to have progressed anymore in that time. A few new ones have popped up on the same small thin purple vein which I need to take care of.

I would do them all at once but I almost never get any privacy around my home due to family always being around. I had to wait 4 months to finally get a day all to myself last time I did a touch up. Otherwise they would be gone by now.

My experience is sometimes they will burn off perfectly and sometimes they won't. At this point in time the ones that remain are only visible when my sac is completely decended due to warmth. During arousal when the sac is drawn towards the body they aren't even visible anymore as only tiny ones remain.

I have read that this issue could be due to a fault in this small purple vein or the skin itself. Best advice I can offer is to just keep doing touch ups until they are all gone.

As time has gone on I've gone to realize this isnt a huge deal. You just have to explain to sexual partners what it is. And in the big picture its just a small fault in the veins. Theres much worse conditions that we could be affected by down there both from STDs and other medical conditions.

Al_1977, you should be able to drop me a message. Seems there would be an easier way to exchange messages between users but I guess not.

Around 5 years ago I noticed 7 of these on the left side of my scrotum and 2 on the right. Now there're like 30-40 on the left and 10 on the right. And there are 3 big ones, around 3mm in diameter that look really horrible. I was so happy to find this thread and a possible solution with the soldering iron and paper clip method. Well, I tried it today and had no success whatsoever. I heard no popping sounds or anything, and it did hurt more than I thought it would. I followed the instructions posted in the thread, touching the angiokeratomas at an angle etc but it didn't work at all. None of them popped, bled , let alone disappeared. I suppose some of the bigger ones got slightly lighter in color but that is all.  What could I be possibly doing wrong? Does this sound like the soldering iron isn't getting hot enough? Please help!

Sounds like its not getting hot enough. You may need to do it over multiple days.

While I'm here I'll add that I havn't had any additional spots show up since I first noticed them. Not sure if its because I do a touch up every 6 months or so or not. But it seems to stop them from appearing.
