I can totally relate with everything you said cuz I'm going through it now it's been going on for a month now. I don't really know what to do. I haven't ever put essential oils down there so idk about that.

Twice in my life I’ve had a similar experience and I pray never to ever feel it away. I described it as feeling like my clitoris was being stabbed with an ice pick. I went to the ER and they thought I was crazy. I actually held ice down there too to try and numb the pain. For me, it turned out both times to be a very unusual symptom of bacterial vaginosis. I have many autoimmune diseases and one is Ankylosing Spondylitis. I was put on Humira which weakens the immune system further. I subsequently got a uti, urethritis & BV as well as I tested positive for HPV during use of the biological drug Humira. Luckily the BV pain went away with antibiotics but the uti took 9 months to go away. When you have an infection you are supposed to stop the biological drugs. When I went back on them I got the HPV positive test again (I test negative when not on biologics) and the uti came back. So my Rheumatologist had me switch to Symponi, another biological drug. Since I was having issues on Humira and it wasn’t helping me much. As soon as I started it, that familiar stabbing pain in the clitoris came back. Trust me, it’s a pain you never forget. One I’d never ever wish on even the worst of people. It’s horrid. Sure enough, my gynecologist said well last time it was BV so let’s test and go ahead and start treatment so you can get relief. And yes, it was BV again. I’d never had any HPV, BV, UTI, etc before using biologics and haven’t had them again since either. Knock on wood, tap on glass! I did find using Femmedolphilus a female health probiotic finally got me off of the UTI issue for 9 months going and any time I ever get a twinge of pain I take a heavy dose. I’m no longer taking biologics as for me they caused more problems than actually helping me. So I’m not planning on taking them. I’d rather have severe arthritis pain every day of my life than ever feel that clit pain again even for one tenth of a second. I’m telling you it’s by far the worst pain ever. And I’ve had some severe pain in my lifetime. I’ve had colon adhesions my doctor likened to worse than birth without drugs, ovarian cysts bursting which is no fun, run over by a semi on a motorcycle, I have AS and Fibromyalgia. I also have hidradenitis, migraine headaches, etc etc. This pain was far worse!!!!!! My doctor said she’s never ever heard of anyone else ever feeling that as a symptom to BV. It might be worth looking into if they’ve not tested for that? I do know her pain though and I’m so very sorry. I pray you get answers soon!

Ask your urologist to test you for interstitial cystitis or trigonitis. These are both conditions that present like that. I've got trigonities and constantly get shooting pains up my urethra. Don't give up these are hard to properly diagnose as quite rare so many uros will fob you off but don't let them!

I've been reading your issues. my mother had a constant throbbing, she thinks at the end of her uretha. doesnt't hurt when she urinates, just this constant throbbing. we have been to a gynocologist, urologist and reg dr. they all act like she nuts, and don't want to hear anything about it. she is at the end of her wits she sits with an ice pack and that seems to help some. any suggestions??

Some of the extra vaginal sensitivity and pain during sex can be linked to your body reacting to chemicals like parabans, for example, in personal care products. Also what your clothes are washed in could be triggering some symptoms! It’s worth checking into

Could be a nerve compression issue. Especially if you're sitting for prolonged periods. Neuralgia and Fibromyalgia can cause bizarre pains anywhere on your body. Come and go and nothing shows on a scan or test!
