Hi! I saw that you posted this over a year ago and I was wondering if you were ever properly diagnosed with anything? My symptoms are the exact same as what you're describing and I have spent 8 months of gynos and 2 uros testing me.. Thinking it's probably IC.

I Have been having the same problems for a week now.. what has made the pain less painful is drinking ginger tea, chewing and eating garlic with a full glass of water and drinking parsley tea(parsley in hot boiling water until a yellow color then drain)try it girls it really helps with pain and pressure.

Hi Ladies. Do any of you have low back and hip pain? I recently learned that an injury to my Sacro Illiac joints causes pelvic floor pain (in genitil, bladder, and kidney areas). Mine is associated with my SI joint and spreads out to my upper, rear, hip area- but not the hip joint itself. I'm waiting to be scheduled for SI joint Fusion. I'm currently taking 5-8 Oxycodone a day for the pain. The pain radiates and is not consistent.
I'm currently feeling like I'm passing urethra stones. The dysfunction of the SI joint does some VERY WEIRD THINGS!
Maybe this will help someone.

I had the same pain for at least a year. Sharp stabbing pain in my urethra. I went to all the Drs: OB, Urologist, GP. They each did different tests and procedures, antibiotics etc nothing helped. I finally thought about a Dr that might have seen this in his career. He was an OB that had been practicing for 45+ years. I went to him for the first time and he immediately knew what was wrong....urethritis. The way he treated me was different than any other dr. He inserted antibiotics through a syringe directly into the urethra. Yes it hurt but I got better. I also took an antibiotic all the time for about a year to prevent a flare up. I did have to go back 1 time for the direct syringe injection but since then I've been cured. I also wash with the same soap everyday, antibacterial soft soap. This has kept my infections at bay.

She might have interstitial cystitis. It's what I have and that sounds just like it. I'm 19 years old, and it's caused me to miss work and school many times.

Dude, screaming about herpes isn't making anyone feel better.

What do you mean your mum won't take you to doc's ? That is terrible but if you are too sick to go yourself (you do not need your mother's permission to see a doctor)call an ambulance. Don't muck around with these kind of symptoms. Think of it like chest pain.. might be heartburn, anxiety or heart attack. There is no shame in simply being checked

It sounds like you may have a small urethra. I started having issues when I was about 15. My mother took me to the doctor several times and finally one sent me to a urologist. It turns out my urethra is too short and narrow and it has a flap over the opening which is not supposed to be there. I think a lot of women suffer from this birth defect. I also have a bladder the size of a 3 year old and I go the bathroom a lot. If I have to hold for just a little bit, it starts hurting and takes a while to calm down. The best way to help calm it is to drink tons of water and take really hot sitz baths. I also take gran berry juice concentrate. It's from a brand called Systex and it works really well. Hope this helps you.
