I'm 13 and today when I pee it feels like I'm being stabbed
My husband had that problem and it was an enlarged prostate. The doctor gave him some pills for that and it's been 5years and he's still ok
I don't know how old this was posted but I'm currently in high school and I've been getting these pains for 2 days straight it feels Really uncomfortable, when I pee it hurts and it hurts more when I stop peeing, I feel like I need to pee again after I just went, I've been doing so much research and nothing is giving me answers that I am searching for, does it go away after a few days or is it ongoing? Is there something to get rid of the pain or no? Why do I feel the need to pee again when I just went? I've done nothing to get an Infection so why is this happening? Help
I am 15 and I have had the pain for 2 days now I almost cry when I'm peeing
You have probably got a urinary tract infection or uti for short, you need to see the doctor about it who will probably take a specimen of urine to be tested the probably give you some antibiotics to take.
If you are in the U.K., from personal experience, the NHS actually made it worse but giving me the same antibiotics over and over again, they didn't refer me in time and now I have permanent bladder nerve damage and kidney damage, I've gone from a training personal trainer to retaking me second year in business at college, due to the lack of mobility this has caused me. I'm hoping no one ever has to go through what I am and I haven't genuinely slept properly or had adequate sleep for 2years...the bags under my eyes are affecting my self confidence but being a zombie isn't what gets to me, it's the constant burning pain, I feel like I am on fire, every waking minute of every day and night for 5years now, I had surgery for this twice due to scarring build up, which caused a blockage in my urethra, which prevented me from emptying my bladder for over a year, which in turn caused more infections to be present. Please please, if anyone is at their wits end and in huge amounts of pain daily and cannot function anymore (which is what I have) speak to the COB foundation, professor malone lee. Please please try it out, i am waiting next week for an appointment, and I am the most sceptical person when it comes to trusting anyone anymore as I've been told all sorts of things n led to believe them and have got nowhere but struggling with crutches to get to the top of my stairs now at get age of 25. Again this isn't not typical and I hope one of the worst cases, as I have been told I have been one of the youngest people to have these symptoms and I am slowly looking forward to regaining my early 20's, that I feel like I've lost through all the hospital appointments and writhing in pain every evening for years, I still had that bit of hope and that's what carried me throughout all of this. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone and people who have had interstitial cystitis symptoms NEED to be taken more seriously, especially MEN who will never truely understand as they don't have a vagina. It's like me going 'nah being kicked in the balls doesnt hurt'....who the hell am I to tell someone else how they feel, and tell them that it's in their head as I guarantee you it is not in your head and the NHS is struggling to remember to give people I know any pain remedies, the DAY after a major surgery, it puts into perspective how inundated it really is becoming and we need to all realise that on going problems?! They're not going to give you the time of day...this is why I'm in the current process of suing Epsom hospital, along with a major other reaso that is the main reason which is personal.
Ovarian Cancer often mimics UTI symptoms. My daughter was 13 and had these symptoms and it ended up being ovarian cancer.
I have been having the sharp pain in my urethra and I am being treated for urethitis. I am on a 10 day antibiotic (Ciprofloxacin). Ask your doctor to check for urethritis.
I have the same thing....although I have a caruncle (think that is the way you spell it) The pain is piercing like a knife hulling you out. I have been to two physicians and still have it. One physician wants to do a nerve block. I'm not to sure about a block. Please post something if you have any answers....Thank you
Get tested for diabetes
I find this happens when I sit for long periods of time. I found out I have internal hemorrhoids and between the two the pressure causes the spasms in the urethra. I use anti-inflammatories and stay off my butt using a ring. I hope this helps!
Mine is doing that now and it is driving me nuts did you ever find out what it was and how to stop it?
It sounds like a urethral infection caused by micro plasma bacteria that is missed on most tests. Go to a top GYN and get a culture...it's treatable with antibiotics!!
It's like I'm reading my own post here... It's not, by the way. I have been advised to soak fenugreek seeds in n water over night and drink the water in the morning. Will let you know if it works. No harm in trying anyway as that is a very healthful infusion, for diabetes etc.
ITS NOT MY OWN POST IS WHAT I MEANT..
