That air feeling is natural. They fill you up with air so as to have space in between the organs during surgery. It will go away

Do not take the Reglan! I took it 19 years ago and got Tardive Dyskinesia--it was awful, and I had to go to the emergency room to get Benadryl intravenously. I had IBS symptoms that were just beginning then. In 2005, I had issues with my gallbladder, and it was removed. I've had all kinds of IBS symptoms and GERD that continue to get worse, and I've gained so much weight and am super bloated as well. I'm not sure what the answer is, but it's definitely NOT Reglan!

Ok, it's great you broke down the dirt for us but being that you're a nutritionist, could you not have answered the question we've ALL be asking? What's causing us to be so bloated after having gallbladder removal. It's been a year for me abs I've always been thin. Now I look pregnant. I think if this diet is helping this person, that's great but you joined a page without giving really aby useful information.

I had mine out approximately 6-7 years ago. I had all that bloating, vomiting, nausea, pain too. Dr said all the bloating after surgery is from the gas or whatever they use to blow your insides up, to make room for them to see to do the surgery. It eventually goes away. I couldn't hold anything down for weeks. For the most part, I have frequent diareha. I now have bloating, pain, where the bladder was. That is new. Shouldn't be.

raw plant foods have enzymes that break them down after a while, dairy and meat do not. dairy and meat require the fluid that the gall bladder stored for digestion, that is now gone. tomatos are acidic as well....I don't eat them hardly anymore. papaya enzymes help a lot. plant based diet is best. sometimes there is delayed reaction for bloating due to the build up of undigested foods waiting to be processed.

I had mine removed about a month ago and i look like a fat *** now. My stomach doesn't even feel the same to the touch. I'm a vegetarian so I know it's not any meat that causes it. My surgeon simple said " eat whatever you want after surgery " uhg! I'm getting the feeling that this never goes away and I'll be like this forever. I wasn't overweight before surgery and now I just feel gross, bloated and fat!

I googled this topic after feeling I am at my wits end over this and this feed came up. I had my gallbladder removed in January 2015 and it has been an absolute nightmare!! I have been a gym rat most of my life and very weight and health conscious. Since the surgery I STAY bloated. I describe it as feeling (and appearing) like I've swallowed a basketball. It is so uncomfortable and NEVER stops. I was the picture of health til the day I had this done...now zero energy, severe fatigue, severe bloating, among other things. I cry a lot as I just don't know what to do. I am lactose intolerant and have a pork allergy so staying away from those products not a problem as it is a must for me. I just don't know what to do:( It is ruining my life
