stomach pain after eating can happen any day of the year if you have stomach problems or some type of digestive disorder.

before describing these, it should be noted that there’s a type of stomach pain after eating that’s commonly called stomach cramps. stomach cramps actually take place in the muscles of the upper abdomen, not in the stomach itself. if you eat a big meal and you go jogging, you may find yourself with this kind of stomach cramps. there’s a reason your mother told you never to go swimming right after you eat.

Well iver resent went to the doctors for similar symptoms: strong sarp pains above my belly button after I eat or have a sudden movement, and constant bowel movement. She said it was a bacteria called gastro. something don't quite recall the name. Prescribed me 2 different medications and they worked quite dandy while I had them. But no the pain is back but not as strong as before. But the strange part about it friends and family membership resently have had the same thing. It could be some sort of un known virus. :o

Clarissa... Your paragraph above about symptoms, really hit the head on the nail for me... That is exactly what happens to me.. My pain now is occuring several hours after eating. It usually last for anywhere between an hour to 4 hours, like it did last night.. What diagnosis should I be concerned about? Should I be worrying about cancer with these symptoms.. It does not happen all the time, in fact, last night was the first time it had happened since about April of this year.. I cannot figure out what I did different to cause it or is it just something that happens at unknown times?

I would have a Colonoscopy just be on the Safe side. This exact same thing was happening to me & I saw 5 doctors and had tons of tests but Never a Colonoscopy. 2 1/2 yrs after all this started; I was rushed to the Emergency room into Emergency Surgery for an Absessed Colon. They removed the Entire Right side of my Colon. All of this could have been prevented if I had only had a Colonoscopy. My husband and I used to actually watch my upper stomach/abdomen expand 2-3 inches within 5-10 minutes of eating anything.

BrynIB- Have you ever been tested for celiac? My stomach has been hurting for a year and a half now and it isn't really letting up. I missed 88 days of school last year. I've been to mayo clinic and St. Paul and Minneapolis and they haven't found anything! I've been tested for celiac like 5 times but they say I don't have it. Do you think I could have it even though the doctors say I don't?

Hi, i am a 30 yr old female I had my gallbladder out 3 years ago and have suffered ever since. I have spent over ten thousand dollars on doctors and have no answers to why I can not eat. When I eat anything even a tiny meal makes me sick. It takes around tem minutes for the pain to hit then it feels like the stomach flu, I get hot, sweaty, then I start vomiting and going potty at the same time it takes around twenty minutes for the pain to end. This happens every time I eat, the only thing that helps is a med called PROTONIX but that costs 230dollars a month. Meat makes me sleep, soda makes it worse, I live off milk because it does not hurt me, I have went without but that only made it worse. I need some advise does anyone have any?

ok so for the last week, i have been in a lot of pain down my left side. only the left side, right side is fine. I have been to the doctor, they found nothing. On sunday, the pain got worse so I went to the hospital and waited 5 hours for them to tell me everything was normal. I dont know what to do anymore. got an ultra sound tomorrow (didnt do it in hospital cuz im only 19) but i doubt it will find anything. Please, if anyone can help and give me any advice... thatd be great. its affecting my sleep, my mood and now my studying for the pain is too great to concentrate.
