Gluten Intolerant or Gluten Sensitivity is the common reason. Eliminate all of it and see if you feel better.

Doesn't it suck that health care is so expensive we have all resorted to the internet for diagnosis. I am doing the same thing.

I had these exact symptoms and it turned out to be major gallstones and I had surgery. They kept misdiagnising me because the pain in my shoulder. Ask your doc to get you an ultrasound for gallbladder disease, that's how they finally found mine!

I am a fitness freak who ate clean and suddenly had weird swelling, mainly in my feet and legs and face, and yellow stool. I was not eating a lot of mustard. My doctors ran TONS of tests on me including a blood clot study. All my bloodwork came back I was in perfect health, amazing cholesterol no blood clots etc. PICTURE perfect health.

I went on a Paleo diet with my friend and BAM the symptoms stopped and my stool went back to normal color. According to the mayo clinic yellow stool is a major symptom of Celiacs..I refused to believe I had it and cheated with pizza/bread a couple of times and BAM, came right back. So I tried taking enzymes before my meal, that did not work AT ALL. Don't waste your money on those enzymes. Every time i ate gluten the symptoms got worse, stomach pains, and my stomach will almost immediately bloat like I am 6 months pregnant. I started studying for my own sake and find it takes on average 3-4 months for gluten to totally get out of your system sometimes up to a year. It wreaks havoc on a body. Now I stay swollen for about 3 weeks if I get gluten and it is ALWAYS the ignorance of some restaurant  Alot of places put gluten in things like corn chips and hummus I have to ask about every food item i do not make myself and stress how allergic I am.

However the last few days I have not had any gluten (i did get some last weekend on accident and bloated right up) I am still slightly puffy from last weekend. Anyway I made eggs and sausage for breakfast and bloated right up. There is no gluten i am positive of it in either. Yesterday I ate a banana and had one of those Elixir energy drink things, raw vegan gluten free etc drink from Whole Foods. I bloated up AGAIN

I wonder if something else is wrong with me, any ideas?  I feel sick every time I eat anything lately, and I am staring at a bloated belly from my eggs and sausage. Maybe the creamer in my coffee? It is a coconut milk one.

Toonces, I am wondering if you are dealing with food contamination issues?  Contaminated with wheat/gluten?

My son cannot have gluten, and I did a little test on him as I thought he was being a bit of a hypochondriac. The veggie straws said they may contain traces of wheat...thought it wasn't a big deal, as that's probably the company covering their backside.  We were visiting, they had read the ingredients and were happy they had something he could have.  But he reacted as badly as he does when he has a large amount, and he certainly wasn't putting it on this time I knew.  He has to be SO careful!  If a product does not say gluten-free, even though it is not there in the ingredients list, beware, as it could be from something else in the factory that does have gluten.

I don't know, but I wonder if the people who work at the factory eat gluten-free while there, or are they allowed to bring in sandwiches?  Could some crumbs have fallen into the sausage mix?  Or contaminated with another food that contains gluten(not wheat)?

Just an idea, you'll have to see for yourself if it seems to be possible.

All the best! :)

Hi Sarah, Well I bought the sausage from my local farmers market which just happened to be today, so I questioned him he said there was soy on the bratwurst (some fda regulation?) but for sure the pork french apple that i bought was soy and gluten free. I try to eat free range, grass fed, local, non gmo, no hormones etc. My eggs are from the same local farmers market cage free, no hormones etc. I live alone, there is no cross contamination. But I am wondering If my allergy is getting so bad that the cross contamination is becoming a problem for me now too. I had some BBQ a few days before and today I found out BBQ sauce has gluten so maybe this is all lingering symptoms. I am SO tired of feeling sick to my stomach :( I love food this sucks

When I found

I realized I had every symptom listed. I went back and spoke with the doctors. I have been tested and came back negative for wheat allergies. What I have learned though, is that the intestines are very long and if an area is not affected, and that's where the biopsy is taken from, it will not test positive for celiac. My grandmother had celiac, and it is hereditary, so my odds are I have it. I follow a strict gluten free diet. If I eat something with gluten, within 10 minutes, I'll know it. I went through the same phases as any person with any disease -- denial being one of them. I would secretly eat a piece of bread or a bite or two of pizza, then be on the bed in a ball of pain. I spoke with a guy at work whose son had gluten intolerance and he and I said the same thing: for some reason, grabbing the knees and getting into a ball relieved the pain. Other than that you have to wait for the gluten to pass. BTW, my husband called me stupid every time I tried to eat something with gluten. After following a GF diet, my blood pressure went down, and my nerve damage in my legs got better. I still have some feet damage, but at least I can feel my legs now.

I will tell you though, that my niece had H.Pylori. She looked pretty bad before they found out what was wrong.

To answer your question -- yes, I think you may have it even though you are told you don't. Go GF and see if your symptoms are better. One of the gluten symptoms is that your friends/family may say your personality has changed -- you are more angry. Check out celiac.com and see how many symptoms you have.

Sorry for the delay in answering.
