I have nawing, growling, rolling and bloated stomach day and night. Have to take sleeping pills to get any sleep at all, but only stay asleep 4 to 6 hours and cannot eat very much or it gets worse. Have lost from 158 in October 2009 down to 125 as of the last visit to the doctor. I am 5 ft 7 in and am a woman. I have been to 3 GASTORENTERILIST since October 2009. My last doctor told me I have HELICOBACTER PYLORI and GASTRITIS in my stomach and esophigus. I am now taking AMOXICILLIN 500 mg 2 pills two times daily, METRONIDAZOL 500 mg 1 pill 2 times daily and OMEPRAZOLE 20 mg 1 pill 2 times daily for 14 days consecutively. I am praying this will get rid of these problems. Doctor also sending me in hospital as out-patient to get HIDA SCAN W/EJECTION FRACTION on January 17, 2013 to check my Gallbladder. Have to return to doctor on February 7, 2013. Has anyone had this same problem? I was 63 year old when this started and am now 66 as of January 1, 2013. Does anyone have any natural remedy for my situation?
Guest, how long did it take a doctor to find your problem?
Hey!!! Can you please email me more info on this process??? I am looking EVERYWHERE for info on the stomach meridian and home remedies for this exact same problem! I believe it may be a hiatal hernia but if that is the same as a stuck duodenal flap, then this is what I need!! So I pretty much need to apply pressure to my RIGHT foot top and bottom? I would like background info on this as far as the meridian/chakra/enegry pathways or whatever. Please email me!!!

I have been tested for H-pylori and they didn't find anything.

Hi katzleija, Could you explain how the cotton band can be secured on the foot, if it shouldn't completely wrap around the foot? Thanks
I am dealing with the same issue pretty much!
Have had all the symptoms you are explaining and nothing helped. They did every test in the book and found nothing but h-pylori. Treating that did not help. Finally my MD tried a medicine called Glypopyrrolate and it works!!! It takes the pain away, its some sort of blocker, not a narcotic or anything. Ask your MD about it and Google about it. It's a life saver for me!
I've had some similar symptoms but seem to have it under control. I've gone a less then usual route. I never took acid suppressants. I try to avoid allopathic (conventional) medicine unless it's to abate life threatening symptoms or address a cause. If the cause is unknown without a known threat it could be making a bad situation worse with such experimentation.
I research a lot myself. I studied bioscience and check out journal articles. Before I got tested for H.Pylori I took masticha which is a sap from a tree in Greece, proven effective against H.Pylori in around 90% of cases. It helps generally for stomach complaints used for over 2000 years. It turns out I was negative for H.Pylori but that info might be useful for someone who has it. Probiotics used in conjunction instead of (antibiotics which kill good bacteria along with the bad) might be a better way to go.
There's an alternative theory among specialist MDs about acid in the stomach. The thing is that if the gate which opens the pyloric sphincter is acid mediated which means unless your acid levels are sufficient, food will not leave the stomach properly and so, alternative to acid suppressants, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar just before a meal and fermented foods are recommended by these doctors. The reflux is not thought to be caused by higher then average acid but a different quality of the digestive cocktail.
For getting the reflux to ease up, lemon juice as I mentioned and plenty of leafy green veggies. These and ironically the lemon juice have an alkalizing effect on the body in general. Although, strangely the biggest single factor which eased the reflux off for me was having an infected tooth pulled out with 2 different fillings in it but the gastritis continued.( Some dental materials can be problematic. Good idea to see a holistic dentist but check what materials they use to avoid Charlatans.) Addressing the pain of gastritis, slippery elm bark, the powder form I found far more effective then tablets or capsules. 1 teaspoon in water or yoghurt has an easing effect on the gastritis for some hours.
Then you need to work out the cause. Get your vitamin and mineral levels checked! It could simply be that you're in an outlying region for one or more of these and without the right levels, the body doesn't work properly. Zinc deficiency, B12, Vitamin D or perhaps something else could be part of the trouble. If you can't get a moderate amount of UV2 from the sun then eat wild salmon regularly for vit D. Take a supplement for zinc (zinc sulphate) and yeast or red meat for b12. Natural sources are better then the synthetics in many supplements.
Enzymes might help, fresh seaweed, probiotics and get checked for food sensitivities like gluten. Avoid GMOs and irradiated food and try to eat organic - no need to make things more difficult for the body with pesticides, herbicides and unrecognizable gene sequences.
Exercise and relaxation also very important!!! Do focused relaxation exercises if you need to because anxiety feedback exacerbates the whole deal and can be a trap otherwise.
Check out Dr Mercola and Natural News for links and tips too. Good Luck!
I had the same problem. did some jumping jacks for 15 minutes twice a day solved it. Now, I just do routine running or jumping for at least twice a day for 15 minutes.
Hi
I've had a lot of the same problems as you, I went through two years of testing and major pain. I couldn't understand why I was in so much pain even on an empty stomach. Today I still have pain once and a while but its manageable, I decided to get an allergy test done and it turns out I have a mild allergy to a lot of different foods I have a list of over 50 things i react to, the worst part is its mainly fruits, vegetables, whole-wheat, chicken .... I hope you found out the problem if not hope i could help
I dont believe it is IBS, I had my gall bladder removed '09 an i really have to go when nature calls, quickly... But, I too have the same symptoms. I feel full all the time like im living my life like a puffed chest bird. It sometimes gets to hurting so bad that I feel it when i walk and especially bend over. Its been about 3 days for me so far and no relief. Wish someone could offer some knowledge, willing to try anything.
