I Had the same problems for years. I went to a gastro doctor, he said I had a ( can't explain it but it was a growth that showed up on my endoscopy- the size of a pinky nail - wouldn't let my food pass) He suggested I start cutting out foods that may make this little thing react. I thought he was nuts. I left it alone for 2 years, kept getting acid reflux every night. Vomiting nightly, pain, couldn't lose weight. Too tired to do anything, really couldn't breathe. Eating food was horrific. My stomach would stretch to the size of a pregnant woman. Finally, 3 weeks ago I thought I would try his recommendations. First, I started cutting out meat. Then fat, then dairy. I tell you what, I have never felt better. No more symptoms, no more bloat. I am creative, so I can fix lots of fruits and veggies ( they even have soup that has no fat in it or meat) Once doing this, I have not only lost 12 pounds, but feel fine. Plus, my knees don't ache, my back doesn't hurt. I don't have a thirst for water like I used to. I am 57 years old. I finally feel like a real person again, I even was able to mow the grass last night. It's an adjustment, but once you start this, you don't ever want to go back. Rice and beans are my friends. Salads with Italian dressing, cucumbers, watermelon. Lots of grilled squash, spaghetti squash. Butternut Squash. Potatoes with no butter. A little pasta ( I mean a little) I have found a way to be happy, healthy and believe it or not, not hungry.
