I have been constantly smocking weed for over one year. It is crazy to think that my daily life is constantly high, bowl in the morning to start the day, lunch snack and before physical exercise, I tried quitting for 30 days, during that period I had cramps, couldn't sleep, lost my appetite and had painful headaches. Just wanted to share.
I hope I will be able to stop, I believe in myself.
I know this is a while ago, but wondering how your doing now...?? I have smoked pretty much every day for the past 15 years.. I had two bouts last year where I quit for 30 days so drug tests showed up clear... but *I started again. I am a smoker of tobacco also which doesnt help as really as I have convinced myself that actually, I am fine with puff, I just shouldnt smoke tobacco... that all changed when last week when an MRI scan showed up white spots... decided now that regardless of its less danger than alcohol, I shouldnt be bloody doing it!! Any tips???
How did you do??? same same here... about 16 years of everday blasted... I have to give up as found some spots on the brain so thats more than enough of a sign, but really anxious has anyone ever DONE it??? lots of people saying they are tryinj but I need some succes stories to spur me on :)
Dude I'm in almost the same position. I'm 21, I been smoking since 18.(4/20/2009). I am a OBSESSIVE smoker. I smoke wax, hash, keif everyday. Almost once an hour. The thing is I have great parents who trust me and don't think the problem is as bad as it is. I have a car and money, But no job. And cant seem to hold on or get one. Last week i failed a drug test because the urine i was using was too hot. Either way now i feel like i HAVE to stop because I'm gonna loose it all & Never gain anything. Anyways these last couple years i think i convinced myself im better with it. But the problem is i forgot how i was without it. So now I'm trying to stop and its hard as f**k. But alot of u guys helped alot. Im just gonna deal with the withdrawals, at least try too.. Thanks alot. If u wanna hear my progress just hmu @Jeremyskywalkn
gettin same problem bro stick to it try getting a muscle relaxant from the doctors and a few build up drinks you wul be fine in 5 weeks best a luck my friend and respect its a hared than people think
i smoked since i was 19 years old and finally gave it up at the age of 43 .. i feel so much better for it , can taste my food better and breathe better , my nightmares have ceased too . anyone can do it ... if i stayed on it i would not have a clue what i would be doing as i was going that way and i would have been skint ..
Yes there are marijuana withdraws. Im actually going through it right now with you, so your not the only 1. I have been an everyday user for about 4 years now and i feel horrible..im from san diego and recently visiting my family in this tumble weed tow called lemoore its close to fresno but neways ive been here 5 days so far 4 days without a single hit of weed..what i do is just keep yourself busy do things u wouldnt do on weed like go 4 a walk or play basketball just nething that pumps your blood to sweatout your withdraws..drink a beer..go on a date...just know the weed will always be there when you leave it...the faster u get active in other activities the faster your withdraws will supress trust me dude..
jeez im going through the same ! smoker trying to quit...finding it tough...it gives me peace but has taken my life away...im gonna get my life back ! your words help...and i also get anxiety, vertigo, dizziness..
need to keep reading this time and time again to get it IN ! im
i have been smoking weed for atleast 20 years, Im 38 and decided to quit, cold turkey. i dont smoke cigarettes and train regularly so my health is important to me. ive been having withdrawals very bad and becoming very aggro and dizzy at times. today is day 10 and went to see my gp who prescribed stresam for the aggression. it has helped somewhat however the headaches are also a problem. i am determined to kick the habit cause i realise that i am an addict and should not be subjected to any substance abuse. from smoking 1 joint a day it would lead to five a day and i would need to smoke to do anything.
my memory was so bad and i would forget the smallest of things and it also affected my sex life. all of a sudden my hard on wasnt so hard anymore and after not smoking for 10 days im happy to say that my sex life has returned to its normal potency. i am told that it takes atleast 2 months for your body to rid itself of the drug. this i look forward to and keen to rediscover my true self. i will continue taking the meds for now, but hopefully for not much longer.
i run my own business and fooled myself into thinking that i could do anything whilst high. well after not smoking for 10 days, i am so much more productive and can already see the benefits of having a clear head. i have 2 small kids so being a good role model is important to me.
good luck to all who have taken the decision to quit....i dont crave for a joint and drink lots of water which seems to help as well.
Ive been smoking weed almost every day now for the last two years now and am trying to cut down. Today is the second day of not smoking and I am feeling like an emotional wreck. I am also no eating and when I have its made me throw up which is very strange seeing as I would normally finnish a meal with no problem. Does anyone know of anything that you can take to help this sick feeling and high state of emotion?
