Everything written here is great advice. I started taking roxy's for weight loss and to be in a great mood. They are a prescribed pain medication like oxy's but there's a euphoric part to the roxy's that makes them totally different drugs if you are not taking them for pain. I decided to quit one day after averaging one a day for 6 months and went through horrible withdraws. If you are still having issues with your son, please let me know and I can tell you my whole story and some more advice. Either way, the sooner he's away the better, but that doesn't mean he won't go back. If I hadn't almost died I may still be on them. I know someone else's son who is in jail now because he ran out of money and had to steal to buy drugs. Last month he was caught and convicted with armed robbery. She is a successful businesswoman and although it's hard for her to not get her son out of jail, she knows if she did that he'd go right back to using. This effects everyone and is a very sneaky substance...it won't be easy. Good luck and let me know if I can share any more of my story to help you more. i am 16 years old i just got out of a 4 month rehab for smoking roxies at first i faught it and planned on going back as soon as i got out but as my treatment went on and i started thinking about it and how i was smoking a pill on a peice of tin foil it started gettin to me and now a roxy means nothing to me and id never want to go back to them

I AGREE WITH ALOT OF THE THINGS PEOPLE HAVE SAID ON THIS, iT IS TRUE IT IS THE HARDEST DRUG PROBABLY TO EVER GET OFF OF.. AT LEAST TO ME because i have seen almost all of my friends get bad on them, and a few got away and stopped, most of them still do it, or are in rehab or jail, but there is hope and it is possible for your son to stop, i did., he has to want to though.. Because its a hard hard hard drug to stop, In my experience ive seen more people do bleus than Crack or coke.. Blue or (roxys) ARE SYNTHETIC heroin!!... And dont let anyone tell you that its impossible to smoke roxys... I have seen and done itt before i got clean.. All they doo is put it on Foil and slide it across by lighting the bottom of the foil, calkl it chasing the dragon.. Its the second worst way to doo it and most addictive besides shooting it upp. Its Horriblee and Really it is a HUGE PROBLEM HERE IN FLORIDA, IM from broward county and Broward sherriffs office has cracked down real hard on this.. but sadly right wen the people get out of jail there right back on it.. THERE IS A PILL that you can get from the doctors That if taken it makes your stomach reject any opiate or synthetic opiate, so If yuor son took these then tried to smoke one he would get very sick and throw up.. my friend took them because her mom made her aevery day an it seemed to work so far, But im nott to sure really, But hopee i could help at all, and i really hopee this issue gets better..

roxys or blues as we call them are a highly addictive opiate, a form of synthetic herion, its a dam epidemic created by our governments pharmacys. they are lil blue devils, i hav been addicted to them for yrs and struggled to get clean many times as well as just about all my friends, its a horrible expensive addiction. unfortunately alot of people i kno including myself hav taken it all the way by bangn them, a disgusting habbit that is very addicting in itself, if ur son has not yet experienced this it will b easier to help him, but breakn free from this drug at all is extremely difficult. good luck, im still fightn the fight.

I have heard of this drug. My best friend just died from it. I had never heard of it before about a month ago. He was using it intraveinasly along with oxycontin. Get your son some help.

I can relate to your son or whoever is addicted to roxies. I have been doing 1-2 everyday for about a year now. they are highly addicting. It is the same thing as oxycodone. Alot of my friends went to rehab for it and got prescribed to suboxin (sp?), and i took a couple of them. It truely helps of you are an addict. It completely takes away the withdrawl symptoms. You just have to be carefull with them because, just like any opiate, you can get addicted. Once you start taking the suboxin, you have to mentally have the strength to stop taking those as well. It's not that hard. The rest of your addiction will just be mental; like "craving them". Whoever said once your addicted to roxies, you always will be, is wrong. That is not true and you must not be experiencing this problem or you would know. All i can really say is that this drug is very serious and i would recommend him get help immediatly. If you don't want him to go to rehab, there are other treatment centers that are outpatient. Meaning he would tell them his problem, get prescribed suboxin, and attend group thearpy or counciling once a week.

Roxy is the street name for Oxicodone 30mg. Other doses of Oxy's have different slang terms. I have used them as well as every other drug you could possibly name. Let me tell you that i have NEVER felt an addicition as strong as i have in response to these. Its down right scary. Whats worse is people who try to "detox" their loved ones with no knowledge of this drug. The dope sickness you get from detoxing WILL kill a person if not done correctly. If you have a loved one doing these, admit them somewhere. Heroin has nothing on this legal script. Popping (oral) these pills does not form that strong of an addiction in comparison to the other ways you can take this drug. Snorting and intravenously are more addictive, but still don't hold a candle to smoking them. Hide your tin foil. I am an avid drug user, i have nothing to hide there, but i believe there is a such thing as being a smart drug user. Know what your taking, what it will do to you, when to say you've had enough, when to not let it break your bank, etc. My aim is to help the misguided youth who just has that "go go go!" attitude in an attempt to get high. Also i feel i should note that each method of taking a drug, (snorting, smoking, injecting, and popping) gets you a different kind of high, as well as the duration. But please don't try to detox someone if you dont have sufficient knowledge "within the family" Dope sickness is very real. Their bodies have become dependent on the drug. Without it their body doesnt know how to function and starts shutting down, vital organs, etc. I have known 2 people die from their families being convinced they just needed to be in an environment where the drug wasn't accessible, etc. Seven more have had organs shut down and nearly die if they hadn't gotten them to a hospital in time. Use a professional. Sure it costs, but its cheaper than a funeral.

Keep anyone you know away from this drug!!! My brother just died two days ago from this drug and many people in this area have died from it as well. It is very addictive and it is so hard to get away from. If your loved one is taking them, you should seek help as soon as you possibly can!

and you get more relaxed by it. i would not say that the drug is very addictive, just like any drug, it
depends on the person doing it.
decides the drug has a lot of side-effects that are terrible, like nausea, diarrhea and higher body
temperatures that resemble fever. I only tried it once, and I puked non-stop the entire night, as
well as non-stop diarrhea on top of that again. usually girls get the bad side-effects, and also if you
are sensitive to drugs from before. the pills come in different shapes and sizes and is prescription
drugs for extreme pains. which means if you have been in car-accidents, broken back, things like that.
but then again I "smoked" the pill. yes believe it or not you can actually do that to some pills.
what they do is they take baking-foil, put the pill on the edge of it, and use a lighter underneath and
the other person takes a straw or anything to suck it in with and sucks the smoke that comes out of
it.
so if you are worried your kids are doing it, see if you find baking foil (the silver kind) and a cut straw
or an open pen without the fill to suck it with.

Well i have a major problem....
Someone i have been in love with since high school.
Is on blues, she does 10 a day by shooing them and smoking them..
We have talked about her going to rehab she agreed to go.
But when everything was setup, she ran the day she was supposed to go.
i got her down to 1 every other day , but she relapsed...
And now i'm afraid i'm going to get a call my true love is dead..
I can't take something like that...
She is the love of my life we are supposed to get married soon.
But she needs to be clean, and she is gone nowhere to be found.
I last seen her 3 days ago, and she has started to lose her color in her face...
I wish these friggen things never came out..
Her ex boyfriend got her doing them, he then had her arrested for drug use.
He is a real pos...
i just don't know what to do with her..
i don't want her to kill herself with this c**p anymore.
