Hello...I am an insomniac of many,many years. I have been treated until recently by my mental health physician(shrink). Initially the treatment was the typical Trazadone. That worked for about a week. Since that time I have been prescribed Restoril,Alprazolam,Zolpidem,Thorozine,Seroquel just to name a few. Finally went to a sleep specialist last week and their first suggestion was the new drug Belsomra. Oh hell no!!! 20mg took me 3hrs. to fall asleep and the dreams were out of control. Slept a total of 5hrs. but no rest. Tonight will be my 3rd night using Sonata and it seems to be helping a little. Wher do I turn now???
