I am a 48 yr old female and I started getting stucco keratosis in my late 20's. they have very slowly spread over my legs and arms and I have hundreds of them. I have tried multiple treatments with no lasting success. Tazorac worked to remove them but within a month they were back and now it seems to be less effective each time I try it. I even had laser surgery on my legs and the spots were back in no time. I try to accept this condition but it is so unsightly and has changed who I am. I used to live the outdoors biking and golfing and now I just hope for cool weather and wait for summer to end. Hopefully, a cure can be found! Unfortunately, since it is benign it is clearly not a priority. I will keep checking back to this site for updates!
I started getting them at age 14. I'm 37 now. I have thousands all over my legs....I wish there was a cure.
I have thousands too. They are on my ankles, and inner thighs, on my calves. I hate them so much. Nothing gets rid of them. I wonder what causes if? I think sun damage maybe.
