Ok for at least 5 years (I'm 15, Female) now I will get sudden stabbing pains in my left side. About 3-5 inches below my armpit. I will just be laying on the couch and all of a sudden it will hurt so bad that I can't move or breathe, but in like 30 secs I'm fine again. What in the world is wrong with me? I get stabbing pains in my forarms too sometimes, but never at the same time as the pain in my chest. It feels like the pain could be around my heart sometimes it feels like stabbing and sometimes it feels as if something is constricting.
I sometimes get the same pain right in the middle of the chest towards the left breast. Sudden stabbing pain, lasts for about 30 seconds, feel like I can't breathe in too deep. And then suddenly its gone. It might be Precordial Catch Syndrome
I have had the same thing happen to me since I was in middle school (I'm 20 now). I haven't had it for a few months now, but because of recent sickness and curiosity tried to find some information on what it could be caused from... I found this site today that may be helpful to you...
