I did a lot today, which made me feel great! Left arm hurt while vacuuming. Well, quit that. When dryer stopped I started to iron. Both arms became heavy and painful above the elbow at once. Took reading. 165/88. Rested 10min, then ok! I have had carotid surgery on both sides after a TIA. Taking Rx ... what don't I know?

Sounds like you are experiencing TIAs. Artery blockage warnings, probably above 90%. Simple ultrasound test can see what is going on. Once you see the results, you will have your answer and go forward.

I have the exact same symptoms it's gone on for years only getting worse. It is caused from my neck compressed and bulging disk. I see a orthopedic who wants to do surgery and I see a pain dr regularly who gives me local injections in the nerve areas of my neck, arms and shoulder to help levitate the heaviness. I've had spinal injections it didn't help my neck pain or arm pain and the Botox actually did good it lasted longer then the Ladicane. I would recommend seeing a orthopedic and getting a MRI it's likely your neck has issues.

I had the same exact thing happen to me today for the first time n I was stunned n stood there n waited to see if it would go away n it did after about 5 seconds n all I was doing was reaching out to grab a spoon from the counter, I hope this is nothing serious bc I'm having trouble with my right shoulder where I can't lift anything heavier than a coffee pot

I now have the same feelings in arms and neck area. Several years ago it would start at my heels and I could actually feel it coming up my legs to my back. Only thing I could do was sit down. One day I sat and put my head down and it almost went away immediately. Haven't had this type for a year or so but the arm thing just happened this morning as I was combing my hair, and I had to go sit for a couple of minutes. I have ask my reg. Doc and my OBGYN but neither had an answer. Now I also feel like there is something under my left arm that shouldn't be there, but neither Doc can feel anything unusual. Hope someone comes up with the reason for these feelings.

I have waves of arm weakness in my left arm only. It occurs mostly when I am sitting with my arm bent on the armrest. I move my elbow and I feel weakness in my forearm, just a couple of seconds. It is never severe enough to cause me to drop something, I just use the other arm. It is a lite pain as well and so short that it is hard to even call them spasms. I told my doctor and she seemed without reaction. She told me tp take a blood test but then forgot to OK.....that's how little the info seemed to register.

its not due to poor posture it can because by several factors including accidents.. I have it and my posture is perfect, it was from other conditions such as degenerating discs and spine compression from accident..
