I've had both the ocular migraine with the zig-zags and no headache and the strange symptom of a sudden strange arm weakness/some pain/odd sensation that lasts about 40 seconds. The zig-zags last about 20 minutes

I do wish people wouldn't give out diagnosis. I have perfect posture, I don't use a computer, so your Google diagnosis does not cover me in the slightest. Anyone suffering any paralysis, should seek medical help, and from someone who is a qualified medic. Paralysis can be an early warning sign of many ailments, and so it is in your best interest to seek professional help.

I experience both of these as well. I am a 57 yr old female but have been having intermittent loss of vision migraines with no pain since the 7 th grade but have recently picked up in frequency. I have experience the arm, shoulder and chest heaviness, numbness and weakness that comes on suddenly and lasts for about a minute and then leaves my arms tired and weak. I have not sought medication attention for either one. Treat vision migraines with Tylenol or ibuprofen and if able dark room til it subsided, usually 20-30 minutes. I always assumed the arm heaviness attacks were from a cervical disc issue/compression or spasm of some sort.

So I’ve a few spells recently where both arms suddenly feel so heavy!! Like my whole upper body gets immediately crippled with fatigue and this thick dense like weight makes me stop and have to bend over at the waste because it feels like I might fall!! Within a couple minutes alleviates and then I am fine again. I have cardiac issues though that I’m well aware of. And I also have lupus and my body develops very strange and phlegmatic responses. I will be seeing my cardiologist next month for my yearly check up. I almost feel like I’m having mini strokes

I too just started Chiropractic treatment. Both times I had been experiencing a low-grade headache before the arms went numb upon standing

I would be concerned about the heart. It may be that once you warm up the coronary artery.dilates but might be ok to do a ctangiogram or stress test.

Yes, I have had both of these events, but at separate times, like you mentioned. Both events are very scary. Have you learned any more from your doctor about what may be causing it?

Did you ever get a diagnosis? Your symptoms sound exactly like mine and I don’t have a diagnosis. The dr suspects sensory aura migraine.
