I have the same problem.

I am asian and used to eat a lot of curry when i was young in Malaysia.

The older I got the more i sweat everytime when i smell/eat something spicy.

I like spicy food and I will only eat it at home because i sweat so much that i will look like someone has pour a bucket a water on my head and i cant allow that to happen in a resuartant/ public!!

I am now trying to eat more and more spicy food at home adn hopefully i will get use to it!!!

I only sweat on my head!

Anyone found a way to stop sweating!!! PLEASE HELPPPPPP!

It happens to me when I eat something with lots of garlic or onion. I’ve never heard of anyone else with this problem. Glad to know I’m not the only one. Seems to be getting worse, that’s why I looked it up. Usually goes away if I chew peppermint gum or suck an Altoid. But lately it doesn’t, blergh.

I'm the same. For about the last 6 years or so, when eating even mildly spicy Mexican or Asian food, the top of my scalp pours sweat. In fact, just thinking about it now, has my scalp sweating a little. I always ask for several napkins and dab frequently. If I can think ahead, I wear a running cap which has a built in sweat band. That fixes the embarrassment issue, but that only works at a casual establishment. If it is a nice restaurant or I'm around strangers, I avoid the spicy stuff.

I have the same problem, and also often when I eat chocolate for some reason. Have a look at this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gustatory_hyperhidrosis
