Do you still have this problem?

I don't know if any of you ever heard of Interstitial Cystitis, but it is also known as Painful Bladder syndrome for good reason. One of my first noticeable symptoms of this condition was looking 4 months pregnant what seemed like totally randomly. Then I found out it was due to the inflammatory nature of the condition. I was diagnosed by a urogynecologist after a referral from my family doctor after sever urinalysis that were positive for blood and negative for bacteria (to put it simply, I never had a UTI along with symptoms.)

Turns out certain foods, especially acidic foods and certain spices cause me to flare which sent me to the hospital a few times. I was often diagnosed with Possible ovarian cysts ruptures and released from hospital with no real answers. Many people have never heard of this condition which also causes urinary frequency and urgency. It is most often diagnosed by a urologist after many misdiagnosed UTIs by other doctors because there is not enough awareness of the condition. I can't say what any of your individual problems are, I am not a doctor, but since I know that many doctors are not even very aware or familiar with the condition I would like to share it as much as possible as it made a big difference when I knew It was mostly diet and stress related. There are still times that I flare too badly to function normally.

I've had this and been diagnosed with cyst and fibroid's. I didn't have a period for 2 months and thought I was pregnant. I literately have constant nausea, dizzy spells, I cry all the time, my stomach is swollen and sore. I have gone up 2 dress sizes in 3 months :(...... You may need a scan and blood test but it sounds so similar to my symptoms.

I’m in the same boat! It started out with my husband! But low and behold I started with all of the same symptoms! It’s been 7 months and no DX for him! I’ve started with the same symptoms about 1-2 months ago! After researching, cross referencing, and reading 1000’s of blogs! I’m starting to think we have lymes disease! I’m no Dr. by all means but when they have performed every lab, mri’s ct scans and ultrasounds that they would have DX him but......... NOT. I could go on and on this has been a long 7 month run seeing 9 specialists 2 different MD’S and undisclosed trips to hospital for labs and test!!!!
