Hope this helps.
I would suggest getting checked out asap, my doctor said if I would have waited i would have been dead he next day. I was also severely anemic from all the blood loss so I now need to take iron to get my level back up. I waited so long because i did not have insurance, stupid yes, but it makes me wonder how many people do the same thing with worse results??
i had my gall bladder out in july 09 and i am now getting all these symptoms im just woundering if it has summat to with the gall bladder i have gained so much weight aswell n i eat healthy. xxx
Doctors have tried every blood test and scan - nothing significant shows. The markers for Celiac showed high in Feb, but a biopsy endoscopy showed no sprue. I have been eating gluten-free for several months with absolutely no change. I am awaiting results of an abdominal CAT scan, but I'm not holding out much hope anything will be found. I am so miserable and feel like a big fat blob. I don't know what to do or where to turn. Help someone!
First, and foremost, see a gastroenterologist. Especially someone who deals with specializing in disorders of the bowels.
Second, quit all dairy products (yes all!).
Third, keep a food diary every minute of every day for at least one week. (It helps a lot if you minimize what you ingest.)
Most often women have all of the problems listed above due to yeast overgrowth in their system, or food sensitivities. I ended up having a disease typically called Leaky Gut Syndrome. I have discovered (over the past 1-1/2 years) what I can and cannot eat and what foods will cause an immediate reaction. This condition is also exacerbated by a hiatal hernia and yeast overgrowth.
I still struggle with my diet. This is one of the most difficult things to change in your life. You have learned to eat a certain way and now it's time to change, but your body still craves those foods. I have had to get to the point of being completely unable to move out of bed, eat, or talk before I got to the point of change. But, slowly my diet is changing. Dairy is the number one offender out there, as well as processed foods. I have been able to substitute almond milk and figured out ways of eating around all other dairy products (no, I do not crave them). I have also found out I have severe sensitivities to tomatoes, walnuts, soy, mushrooms, chocolate, coffee, and salmon. I have managed to eliminate them from my diet and increase my fresh food intake. It doesn't mean I don't eat the bad foods in small quantities every once in a while, but I do know what to expect when I do eat them. And usually it isn't worth the bother.
Verify in your food diary how you feel 15 minutes after eating certain foods, one hour after eating, and three hours after eating. I have found my "bad" foods can even effect me up to several days later! That's because it smacks my system down each time and it doesn't have time to recover, until it just gives up.
Other symptoms I have had with this disease include: swollen glands behind ears, neck, and on throat; hives (looks like whiteheads on face, neck, or chest with red raised base); headaches; brain fog; heart palpitations; loose and very smelly stools; pain in top of stomach; severe reactions to strong smells - like perfume; pain in my left ear when I eat "bad" foods; severe GERD; gall bladder failure; etc. This disease and the yeast infection in my body have many symptoms. Just pay attention to how your body reacts to everything you put in it. I cannot take many, many medications because of the fillers in them, or drink beverages because my body can't handle the yeast or is allergic.
I do hope people see this post and think twice about how they do things every single day, because in the long run you only get one body, so treat it good and it will treat you good back and last longer.
Good luck, and I do hope you find some relief...DezinerDiva
Have you checked out Cushions? Over production of Cortisol? I am going to meet an Endocrine specialist - Weight gain around stomach/trunk only, nausea, muscle weakness... lots of things....
Blood tests do not usually show this up. Other tests such as a Saliva test and other types do.
Good luck.
I have the same symptoms -- it can oftentimes be undiagnosed ENDOMETRIOSIS. First suggestion: clean up your diet -- dairy, sugar, wheat/yeast, alcohol. Second: A supplement of DIM (which helps your body metabolize the negative effects of estrogen), Nature's Way is a great brand. Third: Digestive enzymes to help your body break down food better. Lastly: drink A LOT of water to help your body flush out toxins. Hope this helps -- it's the only thing that has helped me with my symptoms and oftentimes, endometriosis goes undiagnosed. Also, a typical solution from a doctor would be to get surgery or take hormones, so this regime helps you take your health into your own hands without negative side effects.
