I had an intrathecal pain pump surgery 3 weeks ago. My LT testicule and groin have been hurting ever since. Feels like someone kicked me in testicle. My pain management DR just prescribed morphine and said to wait.

the lateral cremaster muscle originates from the internal oblique muscle, just superior to the inguinal canal, and the middle of the inguinal ligament. I went to a functional medicine provider who has treated dozens of his patients after hip surgery and identified that this muscle was in spasm. He massaged this muscle along the inside of my thigh with a deep tissue massager unit to release the spasm. Omg, this hurt till the spasm released. I was pain-free immediately after and the muscle started going into spasm again about 10 days later. I returned for another visit with my functional medicine provider to Massage this muscle again And now I am pain-free. I have another appointment scheduled with him in 2 1/2 weeks and I believe this problem has been been accurately identified as a Cremaster Muscle Spasm remedied by a professional massage of this muscle. I’m sure a derp tissue massage therapist could also help if they know this muscle and how to find it.

The purpose of the Cremaster Muscle is to lift your testicle. That’s it. And when it is in spasm, the pain radiates to the testicle as if you had bumped it, and I felt slightly nauseous. Both symptoms disappeared after this muscle spasm was released with deep tissue massage. And this deep tissue massage really hurt till it released but that short term pain was worth it. My functional medicine provider has helped dozens of his patients with testicular pain after hip surgery.

I had my left hip replaced about 3 years ago and since then I have experienced left testicular aches and pains. I haven't found a solution but just wanted you to know I feel your pain. Irritating. I am also in my late 60s' and in good health.
