I had implant surgery two years ago and had a very sore and sensitive penis for months following surgery. I assume everyone has had a similar experience, given the swollen and sensitive penis, added to the fact that a penis with rods inserted will never achieve the same degree of flaccidity it had before the operation. Unfortunately, urologists are as ignorant about how to deal with this problem as the rest of us. I tried a number of things when I spied a condom display at a Target store. I bought 6 king-size condoms with load-catchers(a must!) and used it to cover the glans and a few centimeters more. I rolled a small rubber band just below the glans, to fit snugly but not tightly under it and it has made a dramatic difference. Remember, the business end of the condom is what fits over the glans, so it doesn't matter how large the rest of the condom is, unless you begin using it after the operation. Since the penis is swollen for days and weeks after, a king-size condom will be more comfortable, irregardless of how big or small your penis is.
I almost guarantee you this will make a dramatic difference in the sensitivity and soreness.
Good luck!
Great advice! But be careful with the rubber band as having something tight around the penis for durations longer then 30 minutes can cause gangrene!

Cheers
