This guy is absolutely correct and even if he wasn't , this site is for everyone's personal experience and post so as to assist everyone as to others methods which worked or failed. It's people like you (Mr Negative) that lives to criticize everything, everyone etc. This same Detox worked for me and only method which worked after many faithful tapers off a 7 year prescribed suboxone life of hell.

Who ever invented it, is a Godsend - who ever came up with the directions on dosage should get the chair (money hungry pricks). I had a HUGE addiction, we are talking Fent HCL 98 pure and that was just the last year.......Everything under the sun for the 7 before that.
I read and read and read about suboxone and other ways to WD. Trust me a heavy Fent WD is not even humane.....Not once in my life have I ever even thought of killing myself, those couple days (until I found some more), I had a plan, a place and a time.....call me a wimp, I don't care - I wanted out.....
I was able to score 5 8mg subs. I started low at 2 mg (while in severe WD

Your absolutely right I was on subs for a long time and finally decided I would rather withdrawal from percocets and tabs than subs anyway . I'm on my 5 th day and it's hard even with the pain killers but bearable . Again your right if someone has never been on subs they just won't understand . I haven't stopped yawning For almost a week I'll never go back to subs . Wish I was strong enough to quit everything but the pain is just to much . Peace friend

I agree with u Tim..I tried this and kinda thought this was my own idea..but it's nice to know that someone else was successful in doing this..it worked for me..definitely not a dumb post..all of our bodies r different and all of our minds are different. Just seems like me and Tim's minds are a little smarter and less narrow minded than the "guest" that bashed your post..thanks for the reassurance Tim!!

Also, it took me almost 90-100 hrs to feel a buzz and I was on 2 mg a day but for 4 yrs...however, the perks helped with my pain which was my main focus...suboxone is the devil..at least in the way the dr prescribes it..worst drug ever in terms of weaning yourself off. I've sneezed over 60 times a day and my eyes water constantly. 5th day here and I'm running low on perks..kinda scared when I run out, b/c I know that sub is gonna still be around in my system. Good luck to all who are trying to get off these. I would say for most..this method works. Also, I have som Valium I don't take. Perhaps I'll take some of those (last resort)

Kinda contradicting yourself. Your saying it's such a great drug. But Then your saying that u have been on it 5 yrs and that's bad?? Everyone else is saying it's bad too..so how are they ignorant..this drug has so many side effects and ruins people's lives. If your coming off opiates, just go through the 4-10 day w/d 's instead of spending months trying to recover from subs..now taking subs for 4-6 days would probrably help tame u off the opiates...but dr's want that $$$ and they want u to take 16mg a day for as long as u keep coming back...this drug also, is very very bad for your teeth. Also I've been having a lot of problems with my back and my bones. So I can't imagine what this drug was doing to the calcium for my body. Terrible terrible drug dude. No one on here is ignorant. They are just lost in a way and we are all here to help..not BASH!!

When you are really ready...I mean really ready...a trusted friend or someone who has your best interest at heart can help.
This is how it should be prescribed in the first place. But the Suboxone doctors have found a legal way to make more and more money. Notice how most of these doctors do not take insurance for your biweekly or monthly visits.

I have been on suboxon /subutex since 2011, I want off so bad. I am only taking a quarter of an 8mg a day now for a few months. I am thinking of trying Kratom, does anyone know if it helps?

You all are missing the point the only reason doctors put people on varying doses and high doses is because of the ceiling effect, anything over 16-32mg as no affect.
And your first doses will be loading doses

I am getting back on Norco for a month and then I will use a tiny bit of suboxone to get off that, I will be taking very little Norco, just enough to get suboxone out of my system, cause I think suboxone is a poison and the kiss of death for most people. They say this drug is a savior, it isnt, its a life crushing destroyer of everything you want to do. Go through opiate withdrawal on your own, I promise you it will be easier than using suboxone as a crutch, suboxone is the poison apple the witch is holding in Sleeping Beauty. A shiny trick to poison yourself with, dont fall for it, suboxone isnt your friend, suboxone destroys you more than Norco use every could. Opiate withdrawal is hard, but it ends much faster than suboxone withdrawal does, and once its gone it is gone, it isnt hidding in your body ready to pop its ugly head up and destroy you when you least expect it. If you listen to nothing else, listen to this,Suboxone is one way street to depression, desperation, and death. Dont get sucked in, if it sounds to good to be true, it is to good to be true. There is no easy way to get off opiates, suboxone lies. Suffer through a week of opiate withdrawal and be done with it. Or use subs and never see it end, its up to you, choose wisely!
