Hi, hope someone can help me.....my husband is generally in good health but lately whenever he drinks any alcohol at all he gets immediate tingling in his hands and feet. He has also had achy knees after drinking although we are not sure if this is related or not?? When I say drinking alcohol I mean just a sip!! He can drink vodka with no affect and soft drinks don't seem to affect him. Any ideas?? Thanks

No definitely not circulation....more like an ache
Over the past month I've also had similar feelings but for me it's pretty much starts even after 1 drink but I get pressure on my chest and tingling in legs and arms. I've recently been to a Doctor and was sent for an ECG but all fine, I'm waiting for my blood results and am having an MRI scan next week to check my nerves in the spine. Just wondering if you had any answers? I'll send another reply once my tests are over... Goodluck
Hello Louise
My alcohol indulgence used to comprise a litre of whisky and 20 pints of lager each weekend. I thought I´d earned this weekly treat through abstinence on weekdays. However, I´ve been forced to stop the habit because of ensuing paresthesia above my right ankle, which persisted for 72 hours from its onset, usually on a Monday morning. Although not painful, the tingling sensation is terribly annoying and precludes any possibility of sleep. Since I stopped drinking, I´ve had no episodes. Hope this helps ............. Steve
Hi. Sorel I'm french. Same tuning happens to me. First sometimes and now even with just a sip of wine. Doctors look for peripheric (alcoholic) neuropathy. Quite serious.
