Same thing happened to me after taking cipro for a uti.. I found that taking warm baths with a cup of apple cider vinegar helped a lottt with the pain and the sores inside the vagina, however I started to get a bunch of bumps filled with fluid on the outside ish of my vagina, went to the doctor and said it could be from
A yeast infection or herpes, but I got my blood work back and I am negative for HSV 1 and 2 thank god. I'm almost done with the meds for a yeast infection but the bumps are still there and they have told me to avoid baths

Exact same thing happened to me. Took cipro for possible UTI for two days and lesions on vagina showed up. Went to dr who wouldn't consider the cipro as cause and wanted to test for herpes instead. Not taking cipro any more but lesions haven't decreased. Herpes not possible
Glabrata yeast infection is known to be a result of quinolone antibiotic.
Sounds like you caught Herpes from the new boyfriend.
What did the lesions look like? Like pimple/hairbumps?
I have been prescribed cipro, and is having the same symptoms, as cande2. You got to understand just because our symptoms doesn't line up with Web MD or the side affects you've listed, doesn't mean it's not a side affect. It affects every women body differently. And there are other side affects out there you know not of. Please take that in consideration.
