Very detailed description of your symptoms. I appreciate this very much, as I have experienced everything you mentioned. Doctors also think I'm going crazy. There's a ton of tension in my neck and shoulders. I also do yoga once or twice a week to help out. I try not to resort to medication, but it seems like its going to be the only thing to improve my condition. Thank you again.

I've had headaches for almost 10 years now. It evolved into muscle spasms in my temple about a year ago, which prompted me to ask a headache specialist, she prescribed me Gabapentine, and the spasms decreased significantly, but not entirely, thus my being on this thread today.

I am 19 and have it all the time it irritates me like crazy! I think the fact it happens to so many of us is a pretty good sign. I worry about it a lot and my neck is pretty tight from playing sports so maybe a bad neck can cause it

Hi All,

I have recently been suffering from temple twitching which sometimes can last up to 24 hours and it is very unnerving. I have had initial temporal artitis diagnosis also which proved incorrect as bloods came back clear. I have also had a CT scan which came back clear along with several visits to doctor and ER. Breakthrough came when I researched TMJ disorder. Anyone suffering these symptoms of temple spasms have a look on YouTube ;  TMJ and Myofascial Pain Syndrome, Animation posted by Alila medical media.......and if you think it describes your symptoms book a appointment with your DENTIST not your doctor.

Good Luck and God Bless.

I have this too, left temple, a few seconds or less, minutes or hours apart. Weird, scary, but less so after reading all the "all clears" in this thread. I had my statin increased a few months before this began and suspect that is it since it gives me spasms and cramps elsewhere. Hoping at least this is muscle related, not circulatory related. I have TMJ but dentist doesn't think this is related and I agree.

Twitching in my right temple. This follows a 12-hour right-side headache from yesterday, which I have frequently gotten since junior high school. The headaches seem to stem from knots in my right shoulder and neck. as when I feel around there I find certain spots that seem to exacerbate the core of the pain in my head. I was told I had scoliosis when I was a teenager. For sure neck vertebrae are messed up and I have to pop them by bending it to the left many times a day. I suspect the misalignment causes the muscle knots and maybe pressure on nerves and blood vessels and interrupts bloodflow to my head.

Hey guys just came across this thread and having a similar issue. I'm fairly sure it's TMJ and I was just wondering if anyone had made any progress with treating it?

I have Lyme and several co infections and I have the bubbling and twitching in my temples too and it’s very irritating

TMJ , thank you to the guest who posted this! I am having the exact same symptoms, the ringing and fullness in the ear just started though. I have a weird overbite and stopped wearing my retainer awhile back so I’m sure stuff is realigned now. I have the neck pain and what really helped ease my nerves about this is when you said place your fingers near where the bubbling movement happens and close your jaw and you’ll feel the muscle move. I’m not sure what my primary care doctor will suggest but I am interested in what can help with this.

Having struggled with similar symptoms after an antibiotic resistant infection which occurred after a wisdom tooth extraction, I've found the best way to deal with the affected regions is to really focus on your posture and balance. We are very strong and can really pull but part of being healthy and getting healthier is getting stronger. I can't say it's a cure because I still have similar symptoms but I have certainly progressed and my symptoms kind of shifted over time as a result.

Forget what everyone is saying and listen to me. (Very arrogant opening I know, but listen to what follows.)

This twitching, while not in all cases but I believe in the vast majority where no organic explanation can be identified, is the result of energy vampirism. It is a result of a negative energy, usually in the form of an energic cord (read some Joe H. Slate for more info on energy cords resulting from vampirism) entering the energy body in the attempt to stimulate and then retrieve (in reality, STEAL) your sexual/vital energy. This vampirism is, itself, the immediate result of people who are inflicting this energy rape upon others; but, ultimately, it is the work of evil spirits they have become possessed with. (Mind you, once this spirits gain access to our earthly dimension, they can inflict this evil directly upon people without relying upon a human host.)

I recently found a medical book from the 1800's in which the doctor was relating the accounts coming from persons in an asylum who were complaining about this exact same phenomenon: and some described it as if their life force was being stolen from their bodies.

These twitches, along with many other phenomena that are happening to people (i.e., restless legs and generalized leg/knee spasms, feelings of something crawling under your skin, chronic fatigue, and experiences of spiritual rape/molestation) are occurring because the world has stupidly fallen into an evil spirituality which will only pull the human race into the bottom of hell.

I feel sorry for those who are trying to find respite from this evil because they won't. Only solutions I've found are some remote reiki healing videos from YouTube, some OM meditations from the same, and some homeopathic/herbal remedies, along with "fleeing to the mountains."

Good question I have the exact same thing. It looks like my Dura inflates with my heartbeat and especially when I bend over for pressure. My surgeon says wait for my plastic surgeon to clear me and I like what the f, I don't think my plastic surgeon can do anything about my head bubbling. Keep searching until you find an answer. I'm trying to do the same thing
