I’m 36, male and for the last few months I’ve been experiencing a very weird twitching on the right side of my face and at the same time it happens that muscles in my left hand get spasms, too. When it starts, it usually goes from the forehead and eyes to the whole face, but only on the right side. Since I consider myself generally healthy overall and didn’t have any major health issues in years now, I got pretty scared when I tried to search for my symptoms. It seems that almost anything from multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s to fibromyalgia. I have a GP appointment set up, I assume I’ll be sent to neurologist – but any advice would mean a lot.
I'd be interested in your diagnosis. I myself have been having periodic facial muscle spasms on my upper right cheek and bottom eyelid. Then last week, I had some spasms in my left hand twice in one night....lasting a few minutes. I have a dr appt in the 22nd, and like you I have a feeling I'll be sent to a neurologist as well.
