Well done for being able to keep the foreskin back behind the glands as not every guy can, sometimes it's better to push the foreskin back over the head so you don't loose all sensitivity in the glands then when your having intercourse you can still feel the head moving against the vaginal wall.
Smegma is just a build up of dead skin cells and oil off the skin from the glands when there covered and the area you found it is trapped in the corona the groove behind the glands where the foreskin joins the shaft and quite normal that's why you need to pull your foreskin back as far as possible to wash every time you bath or shower.

If you have TOO MUCH SKIN id say to cut the whole thing, but not too sure on that one either the person should decide that on there own, id hate to loose all the great feeling of sensitivity. I would make the suggestion to a young man to get the FRENULOPLASTY any day. it was COVERED under my standard urologist charges threw my Health Insurance.
Secondly Clean It, no girl like a dirty smelly penis. I have a FEW mETHODS on keeping a UNCIRCUMSISED PENIS LOOKING FRESH AND CLEAN FLESHY LOOK! Use a WASH CLOTH when bathing around the foreskin and let the suds flow for a second before you run water over it. I prefer DIAL vitamin C boost body soap. it leaves a citrus taste to it. Use a small silky cloth or silky underwear to DRY AROUND THE FORESKIN. i always use the Sporty silky boxer briefs to wear and to dry. THEN right after that i pull back my skin and dry in front of a fan for a second. This helps keep you best skin tone under the flap of the foreskin.
Third use a little vitamin E oil when you masturbate. too much roll over action will dry up around the rim of the skin in its natural soft position. Lastly don’t pull it too far back very often, save it for when your intimate. Sometimes i pull it back when i pee for the couple a second s when peeing..
You always want to dry if with a fan under the flap. The least moisture in it the better. The dry it off with silk or satin cloth or underwear.
Depending on how much foreskin you have might not want to keep it bunched up being the head when you not hard. It could cuase it be a wrinkled look

26 year old here. I'm on day 3 of keeping my skin retracted now. I struggled the first 2 days as it seems some of the pubic hair on my testicles would get caught in the skin being retracted. Last night I decided to put my penis in the pouch that underwear briefs and boxer briefs have. Now it's not so bad and the sensitivity seems to finally be going away. I had tried this last year but then completely forgot as I was not sure if this was healthy or not. I'm ok with my penis being uncircumcised but when having sex I've been having issues keeping it hard or finding that it was too sensitive. I'm hoping this will help me so it can be more pleasurable for me and the guy I'm playing with.

OK, here are my thoughts on the matter.

On and off I have been keeping my foreskin rolled back since about 2010. The uncomfortable part is still the thin inner foreskin behind my glans, which is why I haven't been able to sleep through a night with my foreskin pulled back, I am just way too aware of it, so I keep my foreskin normal during sleep. Even to this day. That is like the final frontier for me.

See, the thing I started noticing about circumcised guys is that the rim of their penis head, the corona, is MUCH bigger and promienent than intact guys. I first noticed this on two brothers who are models, the Carlson twins. Go and Google that and add the word n@ked, and you'll see.

The reason I assume that is is because if you don't have a foreskin covering your head, the blood can fill the corona over years while growing up and the corona can develope without the foreskin pressing down on it. Now by pressing down I don't mean with a lot of force but covers it enough so that it can't expand over time as much as somebody without a foreksin.

I started keeping my foreskin retracted and I don't care what people say, I know my own body and I know as I know as I know that my corona is now bigger than it was in 2009. Even when my foreskin is now in its normal position, my prominent corona makes my penis look circumcised through my underwear. Even more so when my foreskin is in place because my entire head is bigger. Especially when I shower and my foreskin is rolled back and I look down at my penis hanging down, I can see the thick corona looking like a mushroom. I love it!

Also, because of this, the foreskin easily bunches up behind the head of my penis when rolled back The corona easily stops it from rolling forward. Even on the coldest of days my foreskin cannot roll back to its normal position on its own - I have to manually do it.

One last thought: all these guys who think a foreskin glides over the head of the penis during sex creating extra stimulation: if you have a foreksin and you have sex, your penis is so stiff your foreskin STAYS behind the head of your penis the whole time. You might as well be circumcised. The whole business is so slippery inside the female anatomy anyway during sex that there is no way a good enough grip can cause the foreskin to roll back over your head when pulling your penis out. IT STAYS RETRACTED DURING SEX PEOPLE, unless you have a super thick piece of foreskin that has a mind of its own. Even before I started doing this my foreskin stayed retracted during sex.

Even the instructions inside of a condom's packaging tells you to first roll back your foreskin before putting it on.

Just don't force anything, take it easy. I started years back by doing it for an hour a day. After a while I could keep it rolled back the whole day. By now the head of my penis is desensitized but as mentioned in my post, the thin skin directly behind my penis head is still very sensitive when retracted. It is like the ONLY part I am still aware of and it bugs me because it is the only part that doesn't want to desensitize. If I can desensitize it I could sleep with my foreskin retracted, but we are not there yet :)

there is nothing cleaner about having an exposed glans. smegma is not harmful. permanent foreskin retraction because of a desire to look genitally mutilated is wrong. if you do it for a better reason then its your choice to make. it can cause problems with blood flow but I think its unlikely.

How can we keep it retracted? I have tried and still is covering the head of my penis. If I am hard it does it by itself but I can't walk with a hard penis al day :) I wish !! Joke! Any good ideas on how to?

Some guys are able to just pull it back behind the glands and let it just sit it the grove and it will stay there all day and some can't.

Mine only stays uncover for a few seconds. What about u? Did u use anything to keep it uncover?

Nope mine will stay back on its own all the time if I want it to.
