Hello, I have been having similar symptoms a well. The past few days I have been getting nauseated, been very light headed, migraines, and hot sweats. I am a type 1 diabetic but am not low when I have these issues. It does feel kinda like I'm low though. It tends to happen in the evening/ night. I'm not sure what it could be, but its getting a bit aggravating. If anybody knows what this could be, please let me know! Thanks, Amy

i had a stomach bug back in Feb and ever since i have had off and on bouts with what feels like a mild stomach virus. basically cramps, fatigue, feeling a bit dizzy and out of it, and when its at its worst, multiple stools a day (like3-4). I never throw up and never have diarrhea. most of the nausea comes after eating and goes away a few hours later. mostly happens in the morning. I started another thread about a possible ongoing virus or bug of some sort. I want to start documenting cases like this.

I would recommend seeing somebody other than a doctor. A friend of mine's father does meditation and he has diagnosed people with all sorts of crazy things when doctors said they were fine. One guy had prostate cancer that doctors didn't find, and when this guy went back to the doctor after seeing my friend's dad, they did more profound searches and did see he had prostate cancer. That profession doesn't really have a name, sadly. Also, you could see a doctor and schedule an appointment and get another ultrasound done. It could also be related to severe allergies. She may be pregnant, as well. Talk to her. I hope all is well! :(

Sounds like most of you could be suffering from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).  This is very common, and can be relieved in some people by taking Peppermint Oil capsules.  If these don't work (which they should for most people, and are quite cheap), you may need anti-spasmodics from your Doctor (GP).  Certain foods can make IBS worse such as highly fibrous foods - beans, undercooked brocolli and cabbage (or even cooked-well cabbage), onions, garlic, any fried foods, cream, chocolate, caffeine, alcohol.  Make sure that you eat your food slowly - make sure that you chew your food really well before swallowing - as the enzymes in saliva start to break the food down chemically, whilst the chewing obviously breaks it down mechanically.  Once the food reaches your stomach, there is no more mechanical breakdown - just enzymes.  You may be causing more acid production in the stomach because your body is working harder to break down the food.  Also, by the time processed food has reached your intestines it may not be as fully broken down as it should be - obviously causing upset in the bowels. Don't eat for a few hours before going to bed.  Your body closes down quite a bit when you sleep, so the last thing you want is a stomach full of food to rest on.  Don't exercise straight after eating.  If you are going to be doing a lot of physical exercise - very rigorous, then you should leave 2 hours after eating.  If you are going swimming you should leave at least 1 hour - preferably 2.  Very light exercise - such as a short walk - give your body 1/2 hour so you don't get tummy cramp. There is lots of info about IBS on many websites.  Stress is a huge factor in IBS.  Many of you may find that it is worse at times of stress (even if you don't think you are stressed - take a look at what is going on in your life).  Try to eat smaller amounts and more often - so instead of 3 big meals a day, have 5 smaller snacks/meals.     HOWEVER, if you have other symptoms such as bleeding when passing faeces or urine, or if you are constantly bloated and this never goes away - you should see a doctor immediately as these can be signs of colon cancer or ovarian cancer.  Also, if you are bleeding between periods.  Don't want to scare anyone - but you need to take heed.  IBS is something which comes and goes depending on eating habits and stress (usually).  Anything permanent you should see a Doctor.  You should keep a diary for a couple of weeks with food eaten, when, how much, how quickly eaten, exercise afterwards etc, and also alongside this your symptoms.  Take this to your doctor to decide whether further investigation is needed.  Hope this helps.  I've had IBS since being a young child - you can control it with diet (and the odd peppermint capsule).  NOTE: do not take peppermint orally without it being in capsule form - this could burn your mouth and will taste disgusting.  Each capsule contains something like 500 times the amount of pepperming oil in 1 polo mint!

Hi guys...Though most people would suggest IBS I would like to suggest that it could be a variant of migraine and not actually any digestion problems. It could be result of stress/anxiety or hormonal changes

I have heavy migranes and unexplained rib and back pain. I was held against my will by people or someone during this time. nooone believes me but few have pushed the boundaries of what potential we truely have. I went through a security checkpoint and the metal detector went off. i removed almost all of my items and some of my clothes, belts with metal and change and keys, and a security officer waived a wand over my back and the metal detector went off on my upper ribs near my wings and the officer asked me if I had a back surgury. I have not. I have been curious to know what this metal was, being that I have never had any surgeries at all in my chest or neck or back. I asked the doctors to x-ray me in denver and in other areas to x-ray me, even after I was injured at work and on workmans comp and received no help. last week I put a magnet to my back and found that there is metal through all my ribs and most of my spine. can someone please help?

have you had them check for H-PYLORI? I practically had to live off of Gaviscan (not the other things - too much can be really bad for you) but in order to go to sleep I had to have a couple of Gaviscans - that was the only way my stomach would stop that horrible gnawing burning feeling - I've had reflux issues for decades now and am stressed a lot at work I assumed i had an ulcer. when it got too bad i went to my doctor (which i have done before) and this time i saw the nurse practitioner, not my regular doctor. she as a last thought, ordered the H-Pylori test - i had to drink something, then blow into this silver bag. when the test came back, i received a call to immediately pick up several meds that were prescribed and take, and to also start taking nexium 40mg daily. H-Pylori can do a number on you. my stomach always felt like it was on fire and if i slightly burped, it was almost like i tasted a little blood. Bad Stuff - and it never goes away - i'm only treating the symptoms. :(

It could be just plain and simple constipation. The dizzy spells are caused from gas, causing pressure an stress in your body. The nausea and hot flashes are from dehydration which in turn leads to constipation. Now, if you're having severe cramping and have not made a bowel movement or passed gas in a couple of days, I would recommend seeing a doctor. There is such a thing as intestinal obstruction which is exactly what it sounds like. If you've had abdominal surgery in the past you are more prone, but this is VERY serious and should be treated immediately. With an obstructed intestine the waste cannot pass through the intestine so each time you eat it keeps building up and stretching the intestine and could eventually tear which will cause the contents to leak into your body, which Ivan be fatal. In most cases it will require surgery and sometimes removal of part of your intestine depending in the damage. If it's a severe case of constipation and the normal things like drinking plenty of water, laxatives, enemas...and so on don't work, a dr. May need to prescribe you a stronger prescription laxative. Once you get past

I've had "attacks" with horrible nauseau, burning pain in stomach and upper abdomen, shaking at times. I've tried different meds. I eat a bland diet and this keeps happening. What does your bland diet consist of, that's making you feel better?

I have the same issue but lost over 40 lbs in about 1.5 months because of it. I'm 5'5 and now weigh 110. My hair is falling out now and I don't even fit a size 00. Extreme fatigue on a daily basis, very irritable, glands keep swelling and going down and I actually vomit blood when I'm nauseous. My doctor says its all in my head even though I'm still losing weight.
