Amazing, i still ge this now when im 19, not so much, but i still hate it. i think i hate it because when i was younger i used to have a nightmare, about travelling around a body looking for blind things, i dont really know how to explain it, but i'd wake up and this would be happening. It's not just everything seems fast, everything sounds fast, and really loud, its so mad that this many people get it too. big ups everyone
I have this too!! same as everyone else only maybe 2-3 times a year! im 34 weeks preg with my second and it happened yesterday and really freeeeaked me out! im going to talk to docs tomorrow to make sure everythings ok! i thought i was going craaazy! its like your talking, walking fast, but actually your not and you know your not! which is the scary bit! it always happens when im on my own thou, i ran over to my mums when i was having it yesterday as she only live across the road, and as soon as i got there i went back to normal, proper scared me thou :-(
I totally get this too. The "fast feeling" is exactly my experience - sudden feeling that everything, inside and outside of me is moving very very fast, rushing around, but I can process iyt, that's not the problem, I even feel like, i am talking really fast even though I'm not, and i hear everything really loudly too, like my clothes bruching on my skin, I hear it. i just got it now, it hardly happens anymore anyway, I DO NOT think it is any kind of seizure. I believe it has to with low blood pressure and/or low blood sugar. Next time it happens, think what you did before hand, think about all the circumstances surrounding it especially what/when you last ate. Sit down, breathe, and drink some juice. See what happens.
I am just at work, and had the exact same thing happen. The last month ive had it twice. I used to get it when i was a kid, i assumed it was something to do with fears and claustrophobia. As a kid i ad the exact same thing but objects in my mind would appear to be much bigger than me and over power me. I used to be so scared. These objects would move so fast. It would normally happen when i was in bed trying to sleep.
Having the same thing happen to me at work now prompted me to look online and here i am. Stunned that other people have the same problem. The EXACT same issues.. My movements seem so fast in my head like im going way to much faster than i should be. Its suddenly gone since writing this. But id love to have some sort of explanation.

Same situation as everyone else. I'm 22 and I havent had an episode in about a year and half but all I did was go into the other room and talk to my mom about the feelings I was having and it went away. It's scary because you really think you are going crazy and the only thing stopping you from losing it is that you are aware of what's going on! It's like everything in your head is stuck on caps lock with the volume up. haha
Does anyone else here have any symptoms of ADD?

wow ive had this for years im 26 i used to dream things were faster and now it only comes sometimes and its only when im playing video games but i get disturbing thoughts also so i dont know if anyone else has had it but i always feel rushed
:O I CAN NOT BELIEVE THERE ARE OTHERS! The feeling to no that im not alone is reassuring, I have never spoke to no one who actually understands, the only people I have "tried" explaining it to just look at you like you are nuts!. its so hard to explain to others which don't understand.
It all started for me when I was a kid as well,(I am 21 this year now) As a kid I had sort of nightmares but I would be awake and be running around or afraid of something(strange weird feeling), as I got older the nightmares stopped But the feeling kinda stayed, it would be a feeling like every things moving fast like a massive RUSH sorter feeling, it would make things feel big and small, and sometimes makes me cringe when I touch a certain texture and my own voice in my head would sound..well sort of like panicky, it would feel as if it was just a dream but reality at the same time. I never used to get this feeling a lot, it would normally be once a month or not even that, but lately I have been having this feeling A LOT. so glad that I am not the only person who gets like this.

Like the few others I have read o here; I two have these "fast-moving" feelings. Almost everytime that they happen to me, I have just woken up, or am alone. But I experience one today in one of my courses while taking a test. I am wondering if you others who experience this, have any neurological problems? For instance, do you ever feel twiching anywhere on your body? To me, this thing seems phychological. As if somehow we choose for time to move faster. I know the concept sounds crazy but there appears to be no exact reason why this event occurs. And if there was-how could such a thing be treated?
Well this is the strangest thing. Since I was 8 I've thought I was going mad. Now 29 I still get it but it's a lot less frequent.
What prompted me to look up this was because I just had it. It's so strange. I feel like everything is urgent in my head. Like it's going really fast and can't stop. Lying still doesn't help and it's like I just have to let it pass. The strangest part is that you know it's happening when it's happening. I can say to myself "it's happening, eveythinfs going fast but I can't slow it down."
Now I'm older I'm thankful it's less frequent as it really worried me as a child. But I'd love to know what it is. I always feel relaxed or tired after... It's hard to explain.
Has anyone been to Drs ever?

I am tripp'n right now reading this!! I am 39 now, and when I was a kid this happened to me all the time. I would be writing at school and it would feel like my hand was moving 90 miles an hour. Maybe I would be reading or looking around and it could happen. It hasn't happened since my 20's. I also remember having this reoccurring dream when I would wake up with that same feeling. This feeling something was chasing, consuming me, and I was running but it was gaining. I would wake up terrified with that same feeling. It was awful and Noone had a clue what I was talking about. I am shocked and so happy to know I am not alone. Wish I knew what is was. Why does it seem to go away as you het older? I haven't felt it in years now...thankfully.
oh my god...... Yeah I have that too ..... I'm currently 16 ATM ...... I used to have it all the time when I was younger I don't have it as often now but its weird :S ...... I just had it this morning and it made me want to run ..... It just felt weird .... It felt like everything was telling me to speed up ... I was listening to my iPod and everything seemed to speed up and get faster ... Every beat on the song was more precise and louder j was scared but also full of adrenalin ...... So when I got home I decided to liook it up and I found this website lol .....
The only thing I can find is ALICE IN WONDERLAND SYMDRONE (AIWS) ....... but I dunno???
Thanks
Brad :D
I am 39 years old and I just had that feeling while sitting at my desk at work. I have also had this "fast feeling" since I was little. The first time I noticed it was after a boy down the street was putting his feet on our backs and he was pushing us up in the air across his front yard. I think I probably got a concussion, but I didn't tell my parents. I just always told myself that it was from that. It doesn't happen as often now that I am older, but it does happen at least once a year.
It is nice to know that it is not just me.

I can't say as I have every had this happen to me. I have had weird stuff happen to me but this doesn't sound like it. But I am curious, what are you calling this. Someone has to have an interesting name for it.
Hey, I've got this too. I will try to describe it.
As the fast feeling steps in everything changes in my mind. As like if I have taken some drug and I feel a rush of adrenalin in my brain. The sounds are altered also. I can hear every little tone. My senses are different. Everything I touch is somehow different and even new. I have tried to find some information about this
