I had the UPPP in December 2007. It was a great sucsess. Even my husband is sleeping better because my snoring used to keep him up at night. I have one little problem though. I have an heavy excess of phlegm that I just cant get rid of. It is thick and sticky and just not want to go down to my stumic. I sometimes have to get up at night to throw up. Does anyone have a sullotion for this problem?

Lottie...I had the UPPP, tonsilectomy, and septoplasty surgery about two years. I'm experiencing the same thing you note.
I still vomit about once a month...used to be worse. But every morning in shower I hack like a chain smoker trying to get what feels like tissue paper out of the back of my throat.
Did you find any solutions?
